With standard time returning at 2 a.m. Sunday, everyone is reminded to set their clocks, watches, microwaves and other appliances back one hour before going to bed Saturday.
Evil Kid Bugs 10-29-2006, 12:12 AM If you can't remember which way to set your clock, remember, it's:
Spring Up, Fall In
or, was it:
Spring Plant, Autumn Harvest?
maybe:
Spring Wet, Fall Over?
Jump to the Left, then A Step to the Right?
Spring, Sprang, Sprong, Sprung?
Sherrif Good, Mongo Bad?

Tris-Remix 10-29-2006, 01:08 AM If the clock goes backwards, doesn't VMK lose an hour? I'm confuzzled.

GreenGirlJess 10-29-2006, 01:57 AM Nothing at all happens, as far as losing time. The only thing that /does/ happen is it gets brighter early, and darker early. So, usually the sun will set around six or sevenish instead of seven or eightish, if I'm not mistakening.
LAXplaya1346 10-29-2006, 02:05 AM Can someone post the different opening and closeing times for each time zone? that would be really helpful

Neoteny 10-29-2006, 03:31 AM Is that the one with the flashlights? I love that show
It's the episode in which Little Pete uses the time change to go back in time and rescue the crossing guard. Or something like that.

That sounds interesting. That's weird how they were both named the same thing. I'm friends with 2 brothers that both have the same first name, but they go by other names.

PrincessWall 10-29-2006, 05:27 PM You wont gain another hour of school, dont worry. Its just for today, Sunday. It feels like 11:30 EST, but its really 12:30.
Adventurebry 10-29-2006, 05:46 PM AWW!!! now school last one hour Longer!!!! I hate this kind of year oh well.
Well, first of all, you hate this kind of year? It happens every year, you know. Maybe you meant time of year.. Anyway, I love Daylight savings. I would usally get out of school at around 3:30, well with daylight savings it will feel like 2:30 for me :). Sure, I have to go to school which feels like an hour earlier, but I would much rather go to school early, then stay late.
Goofyono 10-29-2006, 06:04 PM it's kinda the same, if you usually go to bed at 10:00 then you would be going to bed at 9:00 but if it were the old time you would actually be going to bed at 11:00 and when you wake up you would usually wake up for school at like 6:30 let's say when you go to bed at 10:00. but if you go to bed at 9:00 you would wake up at 5:30 but it would actually be 6:30.. AH!! LET'S JUST SAY IT WILL BE DARKER WHEN YOU WAKE UP EARLY
Neoteny 10-29-2006, 06:25 PM it's kinda the same, if you usually go to bed at 10:00 then you would be going to bed at 9:00 but if it were the old time you would actually be going to bed at 11:00 and when you wake up you would usually wake up for school at like 6:30 let's say when you go to bed at 10:00. but if you go to bed at 9:00 you would wake up at 5:30 but it would actually be 6:30.. You know, I thought I understood how Daylight Saving worked, until I read that post.

Neoteny- Either you are really good at math or majored in telling time! You should set up a help booth. :)
Ducky Wucky 10-30-2006, 04:11 AM Is VMK open for another hour? I really hope so, this is my last chance to get all the costumes.
Extras 10-30-2006, 04:42 AM I see the forums detected my time and changed it. Thanks.
