The hallf of fame I believe is for Moderators who have stepped down and still come to check back every now and then.

neoteny if you are a sports geek like me you would get it.
hall of fame is a good thing with people who did good works and goals.
Shorts and pod were good mods but for pod death in family and shorts i have no idea. but we will remember them in our hearts allways no matter where it goes it is allways in your heart. THX SHORTS AND POD!!

Every mod contributes a lot to these forums, whether you can tell or not :) Just remember that "modding" doesn't only mean announcements and lots of informative/helpful posts. There are plenty of "behind the scenes" actions, housekeeping with post/thread moving and editing, reported posts, group memberships to approve, private messages to answer, and much much more that keep this place running successfully.

Don't be misled by what you see (or don't see) and think that any mod or admin slacks off. However, mods do take the occasional vacation (i.e. real life) away from the forums. ;)

And you're right, everyone helps out - that means all the users who follow the rules, post great stuff, and report the occasional bad thing help out the mods and the site ALOT :D

It will be hard without PMing Shorts about EVERYTHING (Haha), But once a mod, always a mod in my book. If I have a question and only Shorts is on for something like that, she still has the knowledge! By the way, I want all of the mods to know that NONE of your work is un-appreciated. We all care about it, even if sometimes we don't show it. As for Poseidon, Didn't really know you well, but from what I've heard you were a very kind person. Sorry for your loss. And it's true, even if regular members can't close posts, edit other people's posts, sticky, or anything of that matter, we can still help out! Just by contributing nice, helpful posts and reporting the occasional bad post is helping! So even if we are not mods, we should all try to help the ones that are. Thanks for listening and sorry we have to see you go. Hope to see you around!
