View Full Version : Purple Superhero Suit
Tris-Remix 10-23-2006, 12:25 PM I've been wondering, why isn't the purple superhero suit not trradeable. It's not from an outside game, but from an event. I mean for the waterslide event, the winners got tradeable items, so how come people cant trade a suit? I think it's weird in my opinion.
skipper 10-23-2006, 12:27 PM Well, because people could get them easy or should and every 1 should have got atleast 1 part of the suit if not then ill get to work on this , skip
BnyKty 10-23-2006, 02:36 PM Since people got the Purple Superhero Suit for free just for riding the waterslide ride.
It wouldn't be fair for people to trade it for any item because they got it free.
SpinMarty 10-23-2006, 02:55 PM Although it would be nice for those of us who were not able to acquire it for whatever reason (broken computer in my case) to be able to trade for it. :)
Neoteny 10-23-2006, 03:41 PM What about people who joined VMK after that event?
At least now they have access to the Mask, but it would be nice if they could trade for the purple outfit, as well.
BnyKty 10-23-2006, 04:22 PM Well, you have a point. People might "scam" them, though. That's the problem.
warioguy 10-23-2006, 06:56 PM It would be nice for anyone who missed it to be able to trade for it.
On the other hand, it could lead to scamming.
Back to the first hand, it's way past retired, so it is to some degree rare.
I'm confused.
Neoteny 10-23-2006, 06:59 PM How could it lead to scamming? I mean, sure, it was free, but that was a long time ago. Now it would be a legitimately rare item, if it were tradeable.
Tris-Remix 10-23-2006, 09:09 PM How is it scamming, right now it's scamming because people say they are trading it. I don't think it could get worse?
Haveamagicalday 10-24-2006, 02:30 AM first of all how could it lead to scamming?
and 2 i think this suit should be trade able what about the new ppl to vmk?? they cant get it which is not fair at all even with pink and green are out what if a person's favorite color is purple?? and is a guest? they will never get a chance to get it! Never!
Tris-Remix 10-24-2006, 01:30 PM I was a new player when it came out and after the even t happeneed i wanted one because i never knew about the event. After someone said that it's not tradeable, I was sad. I mean what's the use of having something not tradeable really. I would understand the gold star and push trivia pin, because people earned it, but all you really had to do was ride a track. For the slide a thon event you worked but still trade.

I think the reason the purple outfit was made untradeable was to discourage muling. If you can't trade the outfit, there's no reason to create mules to get more than one, and without mules, there would be fewer "players" participating in the event, which would mean shorter wait times in queues, which would be better for everybody.
Except, of course, for the people who missed the event and subsequently had no way of obtaining the prizes.
BnyKty 10-24-2006, 08:09 PM Wow, never thought of that, Neoteny.
You have a great point. People would cheat, too.
Pirate_Catt 10-25-2006, 12:15 AM well, how was the outfit obtained exactly?
