Does anyone else have this?

At our school, Red Ribbon Week is a week full of activites where your committed to stay drug-free. At our school we have spirit day, where we wear all red. Crazy hair day, crazy sock day, and a day where we make this HUGE banner at lunch time that everyone signs, stating that we will ALWAYS be drug free.

Have you ever had this at a past school? Ours starts on October 23rd.

Seems to me being drug-free for just one week might not be enough. How about living a Red Ribbon life?

Our school does the same thing and the kids love it! I do all the crazy things with my students, and we have a blast! :17:

Mine starts October 23!! We are doing the banner thing. Everybody is going to draw on it and it's going to say "Art Is My Drug Of Choice"

ours starts this week, and i love to paricipate in the stuff, like crazy tie day. heh. tie.

Wow.. i'm the only one that dosn't have it then. Ouchh...

im not sure if my school has it, it sounds fun

we are having a pink ribbon week for breast cancer , i think it is good that lots of schools are doing ribbon weeks :P

Our school always does that. It starts the 23rd here too. We have a jersey day, a crazy hat day, and some other ones that I should probably know about >_<

We don't do anything special for Red Ribbon Week; there are just red ribbons tied around trees.

Yea we do this! We have the same events... and it starts on the same day. DO WE KNOW EACH OTHER?! Jk, it is a possiblity though. But they said it on the Annoucements.

We have our red ribbon week next week!
Monday is wear red and crazy socks
Tuesday is wear ties
Wednesday is crazy hair day
Thursday is like dress like Twins, Triplets, etc.
And Friday is wear hats and sunglasses day

I know we have crazy socks, but I am positive we don't have crazy hair day. That is in School Spirit Week. I think Friday, we are just supposed to wear red. Sounds resonable to me...

We have red ribbon week too. It starts Tomorrow heh. We have to wear crazy socks tomorrow @_@. They changed the activites all around again. We used to have a day we got to wear Pj's to school for red ribbon week but we don't anymore :(.

I don't know when are starts but last year we had a Napolian day

I don't have it either, since I'm home-schooled.
And I use cold medicine when I get sick, so I guess I'm not drug-free?
LOL.

My school also has red ribbon week, but we don't do anything except wear a red ribbon O_o.

We have a red ribbon week, i made a poster ;)

we also have sports day, cap day, and other things too!

My friend goes to D.A.R.E--- which I guess it's an anti-drug thing? I haven't done much research on that... :D

I just had it.. There is a poster that says:
A Safe & Drug Free School

I'm sure about it being Drug Free.
But safe? There's Black Widows everywhere!

I HAVE IT!!! We made banners and the Primary classes (Kinder Grades one and two) Made Bumber stickers Advance Classes ( Grades three for and five)
Wrote essays and they the teacher picks the winner and they go up live in the morning on our telvision Program!!

D.A.R.E. is done in 5th grade in the elementary school near me. In my middle school, we do PeaceMakers, once a week.

It's annoying though, and it's usually on Fridays.

My school just had it.
I didn't do any of the things though cause I kept forgetting.
But it was still fun.

We were supposed to do it last monday but it changed to the 30th. We do red ribbon week at least twice a year.We have sunglasses day, bring a stuffed animal to school day, wear a red shirt day, crazy socks day, and backwards shirt day.

We had it this week with free pencils and ribbons and signing the poster the ribbon says drug free i can B wat i want 2B its pretty fun

Yeah, we had it. This is what we did (MONDAY-FRIDAY)
Block out Drugs (wear sunglasses)
Turn Your Back on Drugs (Wear clothes backwards)
Sock Drugs or something lol (wear crazy socks)
Red Shirt and another one I can't remember.

We have a say no to drugs club, but its after school so not a lot of people do it.
