I've seen this happen a couple of times, and am wondering if anyone else has seen it and if they think my guess is correct.

Two people will try to go through a teleporter - one will end up at the rooms main entrance. I've speculated that the second person will be sent to the entrance becasue the first person doesn't get out of the teleporter in time. Has anyone else seen this?

Great. So I can tell players who do it that its their own fault. :)

I have noticed that the problem of not being able to enter/exit teleporters if someone is in the way has been fixed. You can now just walk through them. It used to be frustrating.

I still see people blocked when entering, but getting out is easier.

The scenario I'm describing is more when the teleporter is still in use, so you have no place to end up on the far end. I see it most often with the coffin teleporter, but once in a while with the boat as well.

Yes, howver I have had an unfortunate thing. I traded a guy 1 of my teleporters he now has access to my room. therefor I wasted 500 credits!

Yes, howver I have had an unfortunate thing. I traded a guy 1 of my teleporters he now has access to my room. therefor I wasted 500 credits!LOL...I have had several *interesting* experiences with teleporters too before I learned how they worked...maybe this has happened to you!

First, two different people gave me a single boat teleporter in the Comedy Club while I was trading them a prize for telling the best joke (which confused me for a different reason...when I'm handing out a prize, I don't expect anything in return, but every once in a while somebody tries to slip me a teleporter or a Yeti or something). So, I just assumed I had my own pair after collecting two of them. Needless to say, I was quite surprised when I finally ended up placing both of them in the same room to test them out, only to discover that they both led somewhere completely different. :) It was actually kind of disorienting...expecting to go in one and come out the other, but being whisked away to a totally different room of a person I didn't even quite remember!

My next fiasco with teleporters was when I had a single coffin teleporter in my inventory and no recollection of how it got there. I placed it and jumped inside...wheeeee! Quite an adventure. Unfortunately, it took me to a completely empty castle guest room, and so I said to myself, "Oh great, another broken teleporter!" I tried to get rid of it like a hot potato and traded it to Figmentisback, "no strings attached." Well, only moments later, I realized that it was actually one of my other friends' teleporters / castle rooms and that I was supposed to give it back to them. Fortunately, Figmentisback was nice enough to realize my mistake and give it back to me, although I threw in a tiki fountain (I think) for the confusion.

My most recent fiasco with teleporters (and if you've ever had more than a single set of the same style, you know where I'm going with this ;)) is trying to figure out which teleporters link together when you have more than two of the same type in your inventory. I thought I was getting to the bottom of it by placing them all in the same room and testing them out, but it was really quite maddening and I spent almost 10 minutes before I finally sorted it out (and inadvertently making my own little puzzle room in the process!) :).

Well this happened to me. I had to restart my game because when I got out, I couldn't press any icons or type at all.

Well then, I don't feel so bad about trading for what I thought was a set of teacup teleporters, only to find out it was a single! (I assumed that it would be the same as in the store; displaying one but actually receiving two.) After reading about other mishaps, it seems likely that this was not intended as a rip-off on the trader's part; they may have been even more confused than me! :mickey2:

That happens alot with my room of Mystery and Confusion. When two people try to get in one of the teleporters, one end up coming through the other teleporter and the other ends up at the entrance. That is a problem because I have several rooms that I use for my games and I have all the entrances except one, blocked off. If someone ends up at the entrance, they'd have to start over again by coming through my first room.
