So, you book online to DLR or whatever, but how do you know when/how you will recieve it?
I would be greatful if someone could explain if you get it in the post or what?

well actually i know it for a fact i actually asked the ppl at the kiosk at DL and they said you book the vac. then they send you the cards about a month ahead of time

Yup and by mail (But it is not always a month) My friend got hers in 2 weeks after the trip :)

I called to make sure! I got mine 20 1/2 days before our trip!
I have had my trip booked since April.
The front desk at the Disneyland Hotels, do not have the cards, and will not give them to you.
It is a promotion by the Disney Travel Company.
The Hotel Cast, and the VMk Innoventions staff are Disneyland Cast Members, which is different from the Disney Travel Company.

You book at www.disneyland.com

You need to book 3 nights in a disneyland hotel or a good neighboor resort, and buy tickets to the parks.
It does not work if you use a travel agent, or if you book on the phone.
And that really stinks if you are entitled to certain discounts.

It is a very expensive undertaking!

I would just like to correct one part here. The Walt Disney Travel Company IS Disney. They are cast members as well. Its not a 3rd party company. The Hotel staff and park staff are cast memebers as well just like WDTC. Its just a diffrent part of Disney.

Just in case anyone does not know the promotion has been extended. So if you hear someone telling you its not..they are wrong.

You got that right! I'm an Annual Passholder and I still bought the package just so I could get the hat. That's one reason I won't take the hat off! :h-biggrin
