And post what you think here! futuremartymcfly 10-11-2006, 06:49 PM Well, let me first say that I'm not a big fan of Danny Elfman, mostly because of his childish early Tim Burton scores ie Beetlejuice, NBC, and Pee Wee Hermann. I've never been able to get into the NBC score, because of its wackines, and to me this is certainly a low. Its just going with the flow of having popular rock/hip-hop singers perform older songs to make it more pleasing for the kids of today. I admit, I didn't like the first very well, and the She Wants Revenge version of Kidnap the Sandy Claws was horrible, but everything else was fine to me. Of course, those are definitely some of the more amazing scores, especially the main title sequences, but (more notably in Batman) there are some cues that really aren't my cup of tea (and I'm not talking about the Ballet cue). Ducky Wucky 10-13-2006, 10:30 PM Fall Out Boy was pretty good at "What's this?", but my best friend can do better at playing the guitar, and singing to that song, and making it more of a rock song. But I like what they did with the beggining to that song, so props to them. Everything else wasn't that great, like "Kidnap The Sandy Claws" wasn't that great from She Wants Revenge and Danny Elfman, it just sounded weird...
