The green throne was unavailable for a long time, but now it is readily available from the bronze treasure chest in the Pirate Treasure Room.

green pirate throne was beta i believe and very rare...

around april (first quest month theme), it was a popular staff prize (not sure if it was for the August staff quest prizes). Because of that, it became less rare, no longer considered "beta" as much. Now being available with the bronze key, it is even less rare now.
