I would be more willing to spend $10 dollars for one year, than $20 dollars for two years.

Nick giving an adress would basically be giving out his own adress, or maybe his office building. Who knows what could lead to someone finding out that info on the forums.

One of the main reasons we only accept donations via paypal is that we use paypal to pay for the server.

There is a reason why we are not doing half price, paypal takes fee's and it wouldn't be feasible for some of these donations to be half price seeing as the amount of fees that would be taken out wouldn't leave much left.

One more question. If they did get the three years, but this forum shuts down because VMK shut down in one more year, what would happen to that one more year (really two because of the special)? Would you just say sorry and keep the money or what? I guess it would go to the left over server fees but still. :rolleyes:

TS: If you think about it, it is half price. I don't feel like looking up the prices, but let's pretend a subscription is $10/yr. If you get two years for $10, then each year is only $5. Half price. :D

That's why it's called a donation. The money is given for the operating costs of this forums. If it closed down tomorrow, I wouldn't expect my money back.
When I donate clothes to a charity, I don't have any control over who wears them or what they do with them.
