Coming to disney channel 2007 High School Musical 2! With hopefully the same characters and great singers as in high school musical. Who knows what impact this movie will have in the U.S and what magic it will release in the U.K I guess we are all curious... lol ;)

As I stated in the other thread, can't wait for HSM2! I hear all the cast will be back, so it should be great!

HSM2.....yeah it's gonna be big. LOL.

The plot involves Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor who organize a talent show at the local golf and country club to which Sharpay, Ryan, and their family belong and where Troy has a summer job as a lifeguard.And some people of Troy's relatives are coming to visit.Gabriella in the movie is Troy's girlfriend.

It comes out Summer of 07. Saw a add for it when I went to The Cheetah Girls concert last night! Anywho it didn't show any new stuff but I THOUGHT I heard a little new tune, but that's all I can explain really.

I did not like HSM, the plot was way too similar to Grease.
I don't know if I'll like HSM2. From what I've heard, the new plot is awfully uncreative in my opinion.

High School Musical 2 is coming out summer 07! I read it in my HSM poster book. Be in the lookout for more novels of high school musical and the High School Musical 2 in summer 2007!

If this is true I dont know.... but it did say in the book. The book is probably made by Disney Channel that told Scholastic to sell them?

HSM 2.....at first I hated it...but I didn't REALLY watch it I watched it on my Video iPod....and REALLY watched it.....I LOVE IT!!!!!!

My friend has a dad who like friends with some people so she's been telling me like a lot of stuff about it.. And although she doesn't like to say it she's rich. But that's beside the point lol.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I have no idea why people like HSM, and I think HSM2 will be as equally cheesy as HSM1 (in my opinion).

HSM is okay.
Not the best movie not the worst.
But it did get out of hand with all the in-your-face-we-won't-get-out-of-your-face-till-you-buy-EVERYTHING-in-HSM advertising.

At first I was like, you have got to be kidding me... another HSM? Why do they bother? But after seeing a lot of commercials, I'm excited for it now.

HSM2 seems interesting, but they went too overboard with HSM. I got sick of it after a few month. I really hope the sequel isn't like that, but I have a feeling it will be. I guess it's just a HSM craze that won't be over until years later when there's a new craze.

At least Zac actally sings in this movie.

HSM 2 is almost here! The world wide television premiere will begin tomorrow, Friday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m Pacific Time. Are you going to watch it?

Also, this September High School Musical will have On Ice tours ( Not with Disney On - Ice ).

My brother has to be at his high school for a pot-luck or whatever it is and im almost in panic mode, wondering if my parents are going and if so do i have to come?

I told my mom that i made plans for tomorrow and she was so clueless. Ive been talking about the premier all week (make that month) and ive already asked my mom if she could buy some popcorn on her way home from work.

For me it would neer be hard to forget the date of the premeir because it is like two days before i start school and i couldn't forget the premier date even if i tried.

I watched it SATURDAY night (I was at acting class Friday night but my acting teacher was so nice he let the whole class take a 20 minute break and watch the movie for 20 mins, he has a TV with cable/DVD player at our acting school haha we got to see the part where Sharpay sings Fabulous and all the guys were like "AWWW MAN!!!" and all the girls were "shut up!! ITS ASHLEY!!!!!" LOL!!!)
IT IS WAYYYY MORE BETTER AND HAS A GREAT MESSAGE.

I personally thought that it was horrible in terms of character development continuing from the first movie. At the end of HSM, Troy was like "Yeah I'm gonna follow my heart and do what I really like" and then in the second movie he was right back where he started.
