Discovery Island is gone. That's why you see a 'new pathway'.

Yeah, that's not a new pathway; it's an old pathway to something which is no longer there.

I guess the Kellogg's tie-in has finally ended. Anybody check whether the codes still work?

It's not on the Adventureland map anymore and I can't get there from any paths that I tried in the Adventureland rooms. I think I tried them all, but maybe I missed one?

its gone forever! im gonna miss that place. nobody ever went there i think, and i just thought abuot it the other day and told myself i should visit. now its gone! anyone have any pics? lol

I would really like to know the same thing. This actually messes up the hidden mickey II quest and the Dive magic quest. Have changes been made for these two quests?

Has anybody checked the Diving quest to verify that it hasn't been changed?

I only found out because I was trying to help some random player learn how to do the diver suit quest. I asked her what the task said, and then I remembered.. - Oh yeah, that's the one where u have to go to Discovery Island. - So I tried to tell her how to use the map to get there, and she was like.. - What place? - And I said, - Discovery Island, it's right on the Adventureland map. - Then she says, - No, it's not there. - So I looked and she was right. It was gone. So just think of how I felt when I tried to help someone and I couldn't help her. And she didn't seem to really get the whole quest thing anyway, and then they take away a room that you need to go to. It was kind of a bummer. :(

I knew something was missing from the map. I just couldn't remember what. Maybe they are planning on putting something else there?

I used to go in there and do Pirate suit magic while carrying my bag of cereal? up to the plank to do.. Pirate suit magic! LOL Guests in the room that didn't know about the pin were all like.. - How do u do that? - And I'd say, - U gotta click the magic bag while you're holding it in your hand, then click the area where u go to do the magic. - And then I'd be all ROFL at home watching them try and try but it never worked. ;)

That's like how I would go to Frontierland hub and tell peeps about - Cowboy! - magic. I would stand in the wanted poster and say.. - Cowboy! - and just then I'd click the change clothes button so that my Cowboy costume would go on my character. Then after like about as long as a regular magic spell lasts, I'd change back to what I was wearing before so it looked like the - Cowboy! - magic wore off. A lot of peeps tried that too, LOL

i seriously thought it was real after i learned it wasn't I did it in the inner space shop at the the big non working teleporter i said that it worded and when i got to it i used teleportation magic and then left the room then i came back and ppl were trying to do it i fell off my chair luaghing

Hmm let's see. I probably went inn that room like maybe five times in my entire time of playing vmk. It was kind of boring in there 0_o.

It's so funny because today as i was clicking through the land maps i noticed a change in adventureland. I clicked again to go back to the adventureland map and i noticed that there was a path from the shrunken ned's shop leading nowhere. I was like what the... i don't remember that there lol. And i just found out that a room was taken away right when i saw this thread lol.

Hey, I liked Discovery Island! I'd go there and stand on the deck, and yell I was ?"the captain! It was good for trivia, like "how many places can you see Skull Rock in vmk?" and it was a whole 'nother ship to play pirate on. Guess it's because the Kellogg's promo is over. I, for one, will miss the Island.

hmm a new partner would be a very good idea. i wonder if they are trying to get a new sponser that would be pretty cool. *sigh* if only coke didnt have their own virtual game they could use that.
