Yes, a photo is asking a bit much, i think, especially since VMK is so frustrating right now.

Anyway, back on topic, I got a black pirate throne with a bronze key.

And just my thought, but it seems to me that prizes are pretty random, meaning we can get quite a variety of buy able items or credits. The pirate maze walls seem to be the new thing, oh and of course Coral magic.

Could you tell us what key or chest you used?

I used a Gold key to open a Gold chest where I got the Wall. And a Bronze key to a Bronze chest got me the Green Pirate Throne. But the prizes are awarded at random. So you could get credits with a Gold key or nothing with a Silver key.

I got a Pirate Maze Turret from the Gold Treasure Chest. It looks somewhat like the Wall, but is round and has only one gun. I will post a picture as soon as I log back on to vmk.

And the back left chest to get the Pirate Maze Wall.

You get the keys randomly by playing the Pirate's Game. And you get the Wall randomly.

You have to win like ten times and then you can get a key. I got on key and did not win anything when I used it. The next key I won.

If you win, you get a message saying: "Congratulations on your_________victory. You have been awarded with a _________key for Single Use"

Something like that but the game gives them out randomly.

i got a green throne before (already known i see), but have also recieved the buyable purple throne.

If you read the new newsletter Yavn did say that you are awarded a key after 10 wins per level. Both games award the key.

Personally I got nothing with the bronze level and 300 credits with the silver level...off to get my gold key next

A friend of mine won a silver key and got 300 credits with it. I won a silver and a gold and won a cannon wal and nothing respectively.

I won a cannon wall with silver and turret wall with gold. I like that they are stackable!

I won nothing with bronze and the turret wall with silver.

I got a pirate maze turret with the gold key, a plain pirate maze wall ( no cannon ) with the silver key, and a blue pirate throne with the bronze key.

after getting high score for the day 514 points and finding out i play pirates to much with over 700 wins just on level 2 battle since i started vmk in may or june i moved on to getting 4 keys when i got home


bronze - a black pirate chair

silver - 200 credits
silver - nothing

gold - 500 credits

problems i dont like with the game now

ppl leave if they are losing and sometimes all the players so you lose for even trying

games get full and no new games can get started

the magic you win - corel is one time use AND you cant trade it

you cant trade or combine the magic keys


to be honest the keys seem to be a big hype

now if you could trade one time use magics and keys i might think different

i buy 5 bat one time use thinking i could give them away to ppl asking to - borrow my 5 star and come to find out they were not tradable


i hope the hype on pirates goes away soon so we can get back to having fun playing

You get a key pin for every tenth win on Pirates.

Bronze - Level 1
Silver - Level 2
Gold - Level 3

There are three glowing chests in the Treasure room (exit the left side of the Pirate Dock), each a different color. Wear the key like a pin, stand next to the same color chest, and use the pin like magic. The chest will open, and reveal your prize. It is a one-time use pin, and expires a day after receiving it.

3 golds keys: 1 cannon wall, one coral magic, nothing
1 silver key: 1 cannon wall
4 bronze keys:1 green pirate throne, black throne, regular wall, nothing. :D

With the bronze, I've been getting nothing.

I've gotten a black throne with a bronze key, 500 credits with a gold key, and a maze cannon with a silver key. And I've also gotten a whole lot of empty boxes.

If you are a player that enjoys pirates and wins most of the time this key thing works out great for you because you are getting something extra for doing something you love. People who are joining games to get a key and quitting if they are not winning are wasting a lot of credit on the chance of getting a prize (21 credit to play each game x at least ten games for a key = 210 credits). If you enjoy the game but are not good at it, It is better to keep playing just for the practice, so that you might actually get better. You might as well take advantage of the practice time since you already paid to play. If you don't enjoy it and are not good at it, the key thing is not worth the effort and the credits spent to play it. Besides, if you really want the things from the trunks I am sure there are ppl who play pirates because they enjoy it, don't care a lot about the items, and would will be willing to trade the items.

So far, though, those people are asking for a lot in exchange for these items, which are going to become more and more common.

Do you still get keys if you play different games? Like, if you play 5 Capture the Flag, but the switch to Ship Battle for the remaining of the 10 games you have to play, do you still get the key?

Actually, it looks like you only have to win three games now to earn a key. That's a nice change.

To answer your question, though: No. All the wins have to be the same game at the same level. There are six separate counters: One for each game at each level.

out of all the 5 keys (forgot which, but a vareity of gold, silver, and bronze), i only got 1 thing: a turret wall with no turret, just a wall! ;[

i am ReAlLy good at pirates, i guess i just have bad luck (i have expierenced bad luck with other games, playing with my friend)

Go to the Pirate Treasure Room, go to the appropriate treasure chest (the one which matches your key), wear the key, and use the magic key.

I had bad luck on my keys today four out of five gold treasure chests had nothing in it, and the on that did have something had 500 credits. :)

Until somebody shows me a good reason to change my mind, I'd rather have the 500 credits than the single-use magic pin.

Once you have the magic pin, gold silver or bronze. You put on the magic pin like you would a normal pin. Then stand next to a treasure box. You can tell which one is for which magic, (Hint: Look at the glow ;)). Stand infront of the treasure box, and use your magic. You will then get a message saying what you have won! :)

ok let me help you out a little :)

yes you can get multiple amounts of keysl from any level.
you can use thekeys in a room called the treasure room whichcan be entered by exiting on the left side ofpirates game.
The keys can be worn like magic pins. All you do is put on the pin (key), stand next to the chest that the key goes to, and use the magic.
The pin will then disappear and a message will pop up that tells you what you have won.

i lost track of how many pins i have had but i have only gotten two things thats it pirate throne(black) and pirate wall, i was happy to get the wall

I've played 70 games of pirates in a row and have keep a chart of the wins to key ratio. You must win 3 games at a level, then you win a key. Every third win after that( on the same level ), you win a key. I've won different colors of pirate thrones, pirate maze walls with and without cannons, the turrent wall, credits, TICMP, and a few times the chest was empty.:38:

Is it just me or are their more and more empty treasure chests. Today I got all empty except for one and that was a bronze key. One out of seven. OMG is it just me? Bad luck i guess!!!

for me it seems i get better chance after i fill my lanyard first with the gold keys before i use them

also dont play with ai players - i think your prize is already assigned based on your win

i almost have a full lanyard of coral magic but lost already won and getting hers first
