I know! I'm not even going to TRY to get a single key..for a wall, and single use credits? I mean, the 500 creds are cool, but you can get more if you get lots of ghosts in HM..

The chests are in the pirate's treasure room, to the left of the game lobby.

I can understand the keys being single-use only, because they (usually) get you something else when they're used. But what good is single-use "Turn into Coral" magic? How do I decide when to use it? Should I use it right now, just to show it off? Or should I save it in case I need it for a quest later this month? Or what?

Does anybody get the feeling that this pin will be for sale at some point? they have 1x use bat magic and the regular bat pin on sale.

i think the single use magic is so players will use more magic because vmk noticed that the magic pins weren't getting used as often. So, they made new magic and single use - it expires too, so you kinda have to use it :P

the point of single use is stupid lol.
u can only use it once like bat magic in the emporium there is a single use which is cheaper and the regular kind is way more credits. i hope that awnsers ur question.:D

Another thing to think about is that maybe it lasts longer than your average pin?

Okay, gang. I remember many of you whining that you could never get a Green Car Magic pin because you did not have the Bat Magic pin to complete the quest. Well, now for only 200 credits (IIRC) you can get a one-time use only pin to save and complete your quest! What a deal! What a great thing VMK has done for us! Now EVERYBODY has an opportunity, not just those who bought Bat last year or who can fork over 10,000 credits now. And how many of you with the pin got begged on - "Can I borrow it? PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ!"
One time use pins can be great! Coral Magic will likely be on an upcoming quest, so save the ones you get. Remember, they will expire someday, so if you see a way to use it for a purpose, do so. Magic, as in the real world ;), is and should be rare. One-time use pins helps to keep it that way on VMK (come on, don't YOU get bugged when out of nowhere someone just runs through all their magic? Show off!) Remember though, as Mickey says in the new Castle show at the Magic Kingdom, "The magic is inside every one of you!"

I agree. Magic wasn't getting used as often, and I guess it seemed like people were only collecting for the pins and to say, "I have a rare pin! Kewl!!"

I think another reason why they made single use magic is so that when "Tresure Detector" magic comes out, people won't be using it like mules to get rich quick.

I kinda like the single use magic. But if I had designed it, I would have designed it so that people can use it as many times as they want in 30 days. Then, after the 30th day, it would expire. lol But I think once we all get used to it, it'll be alright. Just like everything else in life. I for one am happy with this new magic, and with all the new changes.

I just got the coral magic on my first try at the gold treasure chest! Now can you consider that lucky?!?

The sigle use magic pins are pretty cool pppl but five star magic pins single use pins are history. It took 11 seconds for an 5 star Snowman magic pin to charge.So it worth having 5 star magic pin unless it the kind that can be worth a bit.~ currently have:5 star snowman pin,2 star firework pin,(2) 1 star teleport magic pins,1 star invisible,1 star bat pin and i don't know what other pins i have that is tradeable.Bye everyone have to go on other computer play vmk since my dad don't allow me play on the faster computer(this one) what the whole object of that if i have my own computer(slow).It just tick me off since he can't win the battle(unless he be cruel and mess up my own computer)

I haven't been on VMK lately, the pins we already had, like Bat Magic and Teleportation, before this update. Is it still more than one use, right?

i have that feeling, shortsy. in my opinion, single use is pointless because wow, you can so this stuff in the spell room! if they put every magic spell ever in da spell room, that would be cool, and you wouldn't be bustin 200 precious credits on something you can only use 1 time.

Actually, it looks like they've reduced the number of wins necessary to earn the keys. Sometimes it's five wins, sometimes it's three wins.... My guess is they're playing around with it until they find a number they like.

I have the pin.
It stinks that it's not tradable.
No one is using theirs.
Many people ask me how i got it, and If I'll perform it for them.
I saw 1 leader with a bunch of coral. why cant we say coral in vmk?
what also buggs me is that the magic word is Ahoy! so if you ever talk pirate while using the pin which you were planning to save and show off.
