Everyone should have stories when they first played vmk, plz post your story here, ( how was it was like playing vmk for the first time, how did you find find vmk, how excited you are when you are waiting to play vmk for the first time, ect.)

Here's mine....

Here I am, networking with my friends, till one person told me about all about vmk, a fun virtual free online game thats made by disney. i know if i like disney, i would like this game. then i entered the url "www.vmk.com". I clicked and clicked to see all the info about vmk. I Know i Would like this game. Then i clicked the play now button so i can register for vmk. entered my name, screen name, ect. clicked register. Now, i'm a vmk player, excited to vmk play vmk for the first time. a screen showed up "Build Your Charracter" so i chose my clothes, and picked a free room. then i slowing entered in the text box "DaDragoon". And so clicked enter. Another screen showed up "Rules and Guides", this game had good rules so everyone is more fairer and nicer. Click Enter. Now, the screen it was telling me to wait to load to play vmk. after each seconds, i was gettin eager to play this game. Loading done..."welcome to vmk!" I was too excited to play games, make my rooms, make friends, buy stuff, explore vmk, ect! and so, i'm playing vmk mostly of my life, and without vmk, i would be bored :)

my story goes like this

i heard about vmk from a magazine so i got really excited and couldn't wait till i was off of being grounded so i signed up and my title was Guest215 then it changed to smcc me and another person started on the same day and were good friends then we met and now she is my best friend in real life

wow that's great i'll tell you my story!!!!!!!!! I was on the phone with my best friend in the whole world and we were emailing on the computer, then i said what's taking you so long to email me back? she said im play a awesome game! i said what is it called she said vmk. she said uh huh. I said where is it?? she said are you at www.vmk.com? i Said No. so then i typed in the url ''vmk.com'' i saw it it was the most awesome homepage the play button was a crystal ball. it was all blue. i said where do i click to play it? she said click play now. so i made every thing it asked what my characters name should me. i typed in Perplexie_sister very fast. then i go in vmk, and i was at the map. then my friend said lets go to main stree we will click it in one, two, three GO! so i saw her she said Ow your ugly!!!! she said change to what im wearing i said ok. and that's how i meet my twin :) the end!

~!~My story is a bit odd anyhow.. My brother's Best friend got the site vmk from one of his friends on the bus so my brother was telling me alll about it I thought VMK's name was actually BMK! BMK did not sound G-rated so I was like "I'll try it but if it is not G-rated then I will tell mom." He agreed giggling. When I went on guess my surprise when it was a Disney game! My brother showed me everything but I was still lost and really didn't continue playing until Everest Month. :) So thats my story.~!~

well i quit vmk but ill still tell my story

My sister and I were playin around till my dad came back from the grocery ( dunno how to spell )store. My dad got this rice krispies cereal and on the back it had vmk which told many cool things about it so i joined and i didn't even read the instructions but i got the game very well then maybe 2 or 3 days later my sister wanted to join so she did and bla bla bla.

we both quitted vmk now at least what the start of the post said

Rotfl!! Well i read about it in disney adventures. I started when vmk fist opened because it wasn't open yet.

Mine is much like Raderin's story, I heard about it from my friend, and then my little brother, and I finally got a chance to play and I've never stopped. Oddly enough, even though my brother started playing first, I've been the one who has kept playing, he gave up on the game months ago, because it was "boring".

Psh. What does he know.

I went to VMK Central and my dad videotaped me playing on there. Then we accidently recorded on the VMK recording :D

Ok, so here I was, playing Neopets, and there I see an advertisement for Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom, now by this time I'd seen this banner lots of times, so I finally decided to check it out. I clicked on the banner and it took me to the VMK website. I clicked enter the kingdom, filled out the forms, etc. then I made my character very slowly, wanting everything to be perfect. When it was time to enter my VMK name, I typed Bubblesparkle, re-checking to see if I typed it right, I joined on up and got dumped in the fireworks lobby! (This was before the VMK Esplanade)

This happened in February, the month I joined VMK.
Well my friend told me about VMK because I had habbo hotel, but I had no furniture because you use real money and stuff. So anyway he told me about VMK and that if you get a camera and take pictures, you get credits to buy stuff, so I was like ok. So when I made an account, I first put Killer-Whale (My favourite animal) and it was not accepted after a week, so i put it to Cool-Dolphin. Anyway, while I was a guest, I kept on asking where the camera and someone told me VMK central, so I went and got a camera and didn't do the mickey quest till 3 months after :Tongue: I also didn't get the 50th Mickey Quest that was always on the Q button until i joined the forums and many other things I didn't understand. But after a week, it was addicting and I kept on playing. But I was a bit bad when I did taken and bay be because I never knew, but then i stopped. Now look at me, I'm a VMK fan!

Cool, I made a thread like this, only it was in the Off Topic section, lol.

My story: I read this book, "Kingdom Keepers". It was an awesome book and all, and VMK was actually a part of the book. I recommend it to all WDW and VMK fans.

I decided to check this site out to see if it was real and if it was as cool as they said in the book. When I found out that it was an actual site, I had a freak-out moment. This site was actually REAL. Lol...

My first day was in June of this year. Yea, I fall for any virtual site with cute avatars and "money" that you earn, so I'm an official VMK addict now. I DID however, read up about VMK after I joined. Go me, lol. On my first day, I ended up getting a crown. The girl really wanted my maroon bling shirt. O_o
It doesn't matter now. I understand because it takes forever to collect all the bling and baby doll shirts te honest way, lol. ^_^

Well, I was reading Disney Adventure Magazine and I saw a page that had some VMK characters on it. It was saying VMK is this fun virtual game etc..
So I rushed to the computer and created my character, then got on.
I believe it was the end of April, when I started playing.

Mine is quite interesting. I was on another forum, which had absouletly NOTHING to do with disney, and i read a topic called "Anyone Play VMK?" I was interseted, so i decided to check it out. First post had a link to the vmk website. I went, and i was like "Omg, this game is made by disney!" I signed up, and then, i started to do taken immediatly. lol. But then,vmk got boring, so i left. This was all like a month after vmk's opening. When i came back to vmk, is right after hat month, and then i came back to what i am in vmk now. :)

I was booking a vacation to WDW online and saw the link for VMK.
