Alright, so there's usually around 200 some active users here on www.vmkforums.com .

But, however, in the vmkforums IRC channel, usualy there's just about 30 people.

My question is, why don't you visit the IRC?

I've been on the Live Chat before, and it's fun. But I don't like it all that much because I don't like checking it like every minute seeing if someone talks to me.

So I just go on whenever I'm bored :D

There is no spyware attatched to the chat. What you are running is java chat - like flash (VMK) but a different format. It will not harm your computer nor put spyware in.

I lurk mostly. I tend to be the quiet one anyway. Probably afraid of saying something stupid. Keep in mind when I first started VMK, I asked what "afk" meant and someone answered finally after they were done laughing. Even hiding behind the Internet, it's not a good feeling.

A more important question is why WOULDN'T you????

IRC is a lot of fun...but please realize a couple things.

1. the rules here apply there also.
2. sometimes people are AFK though their name shows on the screen. Be patient if you come in and nobody returns your hello right away! They might be off playing VMK or something. :)

You should all come! It's a lot of fun. We typically have about 20-30 people there and most of the time except during the late night (PST around 2-8 AM) people are chatting away.

Also remember, as Shorts said, the same rules apply for there.

Is the IRC that instint messedge thing? I some how got banned from that for saying that I didn't like a person and now every time i try to go into it it adds another week to my sentence. I i tried recently after being away for a month and I'm still banned from it

You drop camels on me! Usually I force feed people or slap them around a bit with some large trout. WARNING: If you are in my buddy list and log on to IRC while I am there, you are bound to get slapped. Beware of Foustketeer! He DOESN'T give people cookies. lol :D
