Ok, i have noticed this with the New Animated Movies.
Examples~

Monster House
Open Season
Finding Nemo
Over the Hedge
Etc...

But what i have noticed in SOME Movies (Not ALL The ones listed above) is that they are making the Characters in the Movies, LOOK Like the Real People who do the voices for them.

I think this takes away from it all.

I LOVED When it just use to be, random characters, and like one person doing the voices.

Now you are getting all these celebs, and they are making the characters look like them, i personally think it takes away from the movie.

Post Your Thought's On This.

NOTE~
Please dont turn this into 'Battle of Opinions' Because everyone Does have a Different Opinion. So respect it, and if you have different views on it, DONT TRY To prove the person wrong, or make them conform to the way you think.

A Opinion is Never Wrong
But a Fact Can Be.

Iv'e knew his ever since Shrek the first, but it's nice to know your discovery too.

It's nice to have celebrities too, because we can see different voices. Because on "Monster House", Mitchel Musso dosen't sound like anything like his voice in hannah Montana.

With the exception of Steven Spielberg, was there really any celebrity attatched to Monster House?

Finding Nemo isn't new...lol. and the only animated film that i've ever seen who had animated characters look like the celebrities who voiced them was Shark Tale.

Actually, the concept of using a voice actor's facial or physical characteristics when designing or animating a character is anything but new. It's one of the oldest staples of the traditional animation process. And since 3D animation is just the next leap in the overall animation genre, it's no surprise that the animators use the same old techniques.
