I have been cheerleading for about six years and recently people call us cheerleaders snobs:( My friend who doesn't cheerlead plays lacrosse. Today I went to her game and was fascinated on how the girls there liked it. I started to like it alot too.. Another girl that came with us plays soccer and she told me about how cool it was to play that. The only sport I have ever done is Cheerleading and has focused on only that. I never really though of anything else. Since I don't want to be called a snob and grow to be one, I am going to maybe try something new after this season of cheerleading. But since I kinda have been cheering alot, it will be hard to quit. Any opinions, sports that also i could try?

Swimming rocks! Do that. It's good exercise and the water feels nice and cool on your skin. It's the only sport I'm good at.

Well since you're a cheerleader and probably have a lot of good tricks, Gymnastics would be a good sport :) Or dancing. Maybe go to a dance studio and try out for their Performing Company. They do a lot of stuff, like dance competitions, cruises, and everything. So much fun.

Eh..my coach doesn't consider cheerleading a sport lol.
Yeah you should try gymnastics. The cheerleaders at my school are snobs but I don't know about you..
Or just do anything you want, no matter what people say.

I am A Mom, my daughter used to cheer, but not at a school.
She was on an All star team, and all that they did was compete.
Have you tried that? It is completly different than cheering from a school.
Just remember you have put a lot of work into your sport, it is just starting to pay off. You can get College Scholarships from Cheerleading.
Try something else in the off season.
My daughter quit Cheerleading to focus on Power Tumbling!
That is a really cool sport. It is High Level tumbling, down a long mat.
She also does acting, and dance.
Have Fun, and remember what ever decision you make, it will be your memories, years from now!;)
