Yes, I am. I do not trust any internet source or stuff like that. I would never download a toolbar or whatever if I ddin't have the proper information on it.

What version do you have? IE Beta 1, 2 or 3 or RC1? In RC1, the backspace key also makes you go back to your homepage. Just a little tip on RC1.

Also, alot of the times when you download stuff liek that it adds Spyware to your computer without anyone knowing. Spyware is not a good thing, and you don't want it on your computer. I suggest that you get AVG Free. It's a good virus scanner. Why don't you ask your parents about it or something?

You will NOTget spyware/adware on your computer with IE7 RC1. Just as long as you don't visit any site that has it. IE7 RC1 will NEVER come with it. As it is from Microsoft.

AVG Free isn't that great of a scanner though. It will find them for you, but not get rid of them. I suggest using McAfee.

You can have 15 pages open at once in SBC Yahoo Browser, IE7, and lots of others. It is called Tabbed Browsing.

I have Beta 2. I was thinking I had Beta 1. Beta 2 came out a LONG time ago. I still have the Product Key, from June 26.

The new Internet Explorer 7 is not beta anymore. It is from Microsoft, it is like IE 6.0 but uses tabs now and has some other cool/not so cool features.

Internet Explorer 7 does replace Internet Explorer 6.0 as its an upgrade.

I had IE 7 for a few days, but it likes to eat up a lot of my memory, so it was kind of slow.

If you wish to get IE 6 back after installing IE 7, just uninstall IE 7 and find an IE 6 download. BUT make sure you have the IE 6 installation file, or you cant get IE 6 back.

Don't forget every one should be upgrading to new computers this X-Mas because of Vista and Microsoft office 07.

My suggestion would be a tablet because you can use the pen in fireworks and Jungle Cruse.

If you had a tablet, how you you use the arrows in fireworks? We use them at my school (I don't have one yet) and it's hard to use the pen while the laptop is open.

You obviously don't know who makes Windows. MICROSOFT! If they were to put a virus into one of their programs, then basically all their software would go "Bye-Bye!"

When you flip the screen around the keybord still faces you. Just dont snap it shut.

Yes this is totally virus free and is fine...I would recommend Avant Browser...They are the tweakers for IE...IE makes something and Avant makes it better and that is free and free of any sort of viruses. You will have many more options with Avant and it wont use up as much of ur processor as IE would, also alot more stable...Just recommending but this IE is perfectly fine.

So, this is no longer the beta version? And we are sure of this?

The only reason I am asking is because I just got a new computer, and I know there are risks involved with downloading beta verisions of software because there are bugs that can mess your computer up.

Just want some reassurance ;)

It is a RC1. Which is Release Canidate 1. Betas are before RCs so it is out of betas. I would download Beta 3, RC1's backspace key makes it go to the homepage. So use Beta 3, it doesn't have that bug.

I downloaded the newest version. When I tried to install it, it said something was wrong. It brought me to a troubleshooting page, then it told me to try a couple methods that might require me to reinstall my operating system. I don't really want to spend hours reinstalling Windows XP, so I'll stick with an earlier beta version.

Please note with the new IE7 RC1, that when you talk in vmk, and make a mistake and try to backspace to delete the mistake, you will be sent back, because the backspace is a back shortcut key in IE7 RC1
