Are you as obsessed with nail polish as I am? Well, here is your chance to talk about it! I am absolutely in LOVE with painting nails and getting my nails done. I just got a nail polish book from amazon, and it has the cutest ideas in it, I'll describe a few later, when I have time.

Right now I have little piggies on my toes. To make piggies, you put a light pink on your nails, then draw a big dark pink dot in the center. After that, do two little white dots for eyes. Then with black polish, draw nostrils, ears and eyeballs. Its really easy and cute! I actually went to the salon for the first time in my life today and I got a sparkly orange with a white flower and each of my pointer fingers. I'll try to post a picture later.

Right now,

I just re-did my nails this morning. They have black polish on them now. I had black and white. One nail was black and the other white then black then white...well you get the point...

I go through phases... I can't stop painting my nails for about a week, and then I get so tired of the smell and having to re-do them that I stop.... then about 2 moths later, I'm doing it again XD I don't have any pictures or anything, since I'm still expirimenting. (sp?) And I don't really do designs... yet :p You should be a beautician and work in a spa when you grow up :D

Mine are painted clear. I'm serious. When I paint my nails they are stronger for colorguard practice, like when I'm on sabre and tossing my blade fives, catching it usually breaks my nails. We can't have our nails painted for competitions and there isn't that much time when we don't have a performance. It's just easier to have it clear.

Clear... I put base coat on before I paint! I dont plan to be a beautician....... I plan to be a lawyer :D

mine are bright pink right now, i have Morbid nailpolish from hot topic.. that stuff ROCKS!! i usually paint my nails different bright colors. and in school if i have no nailpolish, i use my highlighters =D

oh yeah when im at my friends house, we used to do our nails, and i paintedmine a deep red with a black tip and sometimes put a white dot on the center of my nail, that looked cool =D
then another time i just painted my nails this blueish purple color then had some metalic green lines over a few of my nails on a diagonal =D

i love to paint my nails white with a black french tip you can't belive how cute it looks, but for the 50th celebration for disneyland i did the same except onevery finger i pantied a black mickey on the white and gold mickeys on my thumbs , i wish i had a pic

my mom told me this story the other dayabout her friend in school,and she wore nailpolish everyday and then it dyed her nails the color of the nailpolish o.0

I've been wearing it for a long time now, only taking it off when I redo them, and sometimes it stains my nails yellow.

I have to re-do them every week. A day and they chip like crazy! I painted my toes red, and they're almost gone.. I have to use nialpolish remover..XD But, I just got rid of my ugly, light blue, chipping nailpolish on my nails the other day.. That's an accomplishment...:D

Well.. I never exactly paint my own nails, im not a nail-painter.
When I go to the saloon with my mom I get my nails painted then, they put like 5 coats so it doesn't chip easily :D

Sometimes I paint my nails with markers. But I STINK at doing my nails by myself, and I usually don't want to go to a salon, so my nails are usually just normal...

I like to paint my nails but not during cheerleading season. But during forth of July I like to paint like red white and blue design.

i bite my nails (trying to stop) so there is no reason for me to get a manicure. it would be a waste of money

When we had Play Day in June, they were giving free nailpolish and most of the boys had nail polish! Including Me! So boys can have nailpolish :Tongue:

Put like Alcohal (Peroxide or something.Not the drinking stuff.) on the ends of your fingers.

TRUST ME It will get you to stop biting your nails.

Wow, cant believe you guys never paint your nails! I do it all the time :) All the people I know do it too. I just painted Birthday Cakes on my friends toes :)

i dont paint my nails because im a boy, but my 6 year old sister eats her nail polish :rolleyes:

I use to match my nails to my outfit. I also use to take a tooth pick and dip the end in the color and create designs on each nail. It came out nice.

Even if you do not color, just be sure to keep them clean. ;) Good for your health ;) I am a Dior gal, so I love my Dior make-up...or for the less pricier end..H&M.

I plan on doing a French Manicure soon :) Clear is nice for everyday. ;) (ANd short nails are in this season) ;)

My nails are just black right now. I like to paint mine black with another color as stripes. But I have no cool colors at the moment :( This was them about a month ago:

Cool polish. Oh, short nails are in? Maybe thats why the worker at the salon filed them down to little stubs. I like keeping mine long, but they are always super clean.

i think im going to go paint my nails now so they are pretty and i wont want to bite them
