Title says it all, anyone listen to them? :)
Also, please, let's keep this G-Rated because most of their songs are not G-Rated :)

They're like the band System of a down if you've heard of them.

poor kids with their panic at the disco, you know there are some truly great bands from 10 years ago that these kids have never heard of.true i am "these kids" age but it is so sad that they are going to miss out on a great band like rage.love rage and audioslave (which three out of the four band members are rage alumni)got to say my favorite song is "sleep now in the fire"

LilDisLeia, I just listen to them for their lyrics. But, that's your opinion. ;)

RATM is pretty cool, they helped lead some of the industrial rock breakout, especially in their sets with Tool & Tori Amos. :)

Jeremyv,
You mean rage helped to start the band tool?!?!

jeremyv

No. Lol. Maynard, Amos and a few others had concerts sets with them. At that time, not many people who didn't listen specifically to industrial were just finding out about Tool, Deftones, NIN, etc.

If you want to hear what I'm talking about, look for an mp3, Know your Enemy with Tool. Its probably the more famous example.

Wait, the song Know your enemy is with tool in it?!?!

That's an awesome song!

The actual song is by Rage off Empire, when it reaches the "I've got no patience" part is by Maynard ;)

Cool, but on the self-intitled album will it have Maynard?

jeremyv
09-22-2006, 02:16 AM
Yes, the live version is extended by about 4 minutes though :)

Thenishall

So on the self-intitled album it still has it?

jeremyv

It's off Empire.

Also, if you've ever heard One Man Army, that's RATM and Prodigy during Prod's uprising, some of it has tones of industrial too. :)

Jeremyv,
I noticed on the non-live version of Know your enemy, you can hear Maynard sing for a few lines. ;)
