I don't think Yavn specified that this would be an in-park quest. I assumed it would be in-game.

Going to be difficult for me to get to the parks this October. Major family event going to get in the way. (Not that I'm complaining!)

Ah well, if there will be Holiday ones, i guess that will be the only thing that happens during the VMK Holiday Celebrations that i will not like. However, congrats to all who will be going during those times!

oh Well i live close(30 miles to be exact) to WDW so i can only get WDW

but in 2 Years im going to DLR,Grand Canyon,DCA,and another PARK

oh wow.. i love holiday stuff!
and i wouldn't mind if it was in-game or in-park.. although i don't think i will be able to do an in-park quest in a while.. i don't go to WDW or DLR as often as i want to. lol

My Mom & Dad live near WDW, and We live near DLR, so we do enjoy the in park quest!

I just realised that any Quest for Hallloween would have a really short time frame.

The Holiday Quest was almost 2 months long.
I am guessing that the Halloween Quest would only be for October!

That's why I'm hoping for an in-game quest. I don't live far from Disneyland, and I do have an annual pass, but I'm going to be rather busy for the next few months. :)

I wasn't on VMK last Haloween, so I am really looking forward to all the costumes/prizes/quests!!! I live close enought o DLR, so I might even be able to go there for an in-park quest, but secretly I am hoping for in-game.

I'm not sure how to expect this quest, I'm not sure of any costumes except the bird hat that have been part of an in-park quest, yet Yavn is saying he's working on a Halloween Quest, so the quest he's reffering to must be in-park to have multiple items. If Yavn is still working on the quest, it has to be an in game quest. Halloween at DLR starts on Sep 29th I believe from the latest Disney Insider magazine. If the quest were to come out for Halloween, then the parks would already have to have the quests by now and cards ready for next week. :)

Even with the print at home, they still would have to have the cards at the park by now. They have to train the cast members with the correct answers and have everything ready for next Friday (29th). I also did just verify my Disneyland Backstage Pass and it says all the Halloween stuff rolls out in the park on Sept. 29th including the Mansion Overlay of Nightmare Before Christmas.

The other issue is, we've been having lately at DLR is the HSM was a week late and the Pirate Quest was a week or so late because of the card issue. With the short time span of Halloween being a month, I don't think they could pull it off. I think they will put their energy into the Holiday Quest for both parks. They have that and these VMK pins with the cards in them coming out.

Of course this is all my opinion. :D
