Chapter 1: The Sleepover

Hi my name is Elizabeth, and I’m 11 in the sixth grade. Well this is my story of how I survived the sixth grade.
I and a couple of friends decided to have a back to school sleepover party. After, we all came we decided to make a bucket of popcorn and order some pizza.
I dialed the numbers to Tony’s Pizza. “Hello, how can I help you?” answered a lady. I said “Can I get I large cheese pizza and a large pepperoni?” “Sure!” she said excitedly back. “Where do you want us to deliver these pies?” “To 1234 Lampost Boulevard.” I answered back to her. “Ok we will be there in a few minutes!”
I yelled to my friends “The pizzas will be here in a few minutes!” I ran downstairs with all my friends, they were playing Monopoly my favorite game, and I decided to join them. I was the little dog, Michelle (my friend) was the car, and Ally (my other friend) was the money bag.
“Come on, come on buy my mom a chicken suit!” I thought to myself. “Wow a 12! My mom is very lucky!” My friends just giggled. I guess I’m funny without trying! The game was quickly over after I joined, what can I say I’m a champion. I sang to myself “We are the Champions” but it was more like “I am the Champion!”
Ding dong, went the doorbell. I raced to get the door, and then I saw the yummy pizzas and my mouth watered. The man said “That will be $12.50.” I dug down in my pocket and found a 20 dollar bill. “$6.50 is your change. Thanks for choosing Tony’s Pizza!” I closed the door and started to get a head start to the kitchen table. My friends joined me as soon as they saw me with the pizzas.
I grabbed a slice of cheese pizza, put some parmesan cheese on it and started to eat it like a little pig. I was starving, I haven’t ate since 12 o’clock and it was 8 o’clock. I grabbed some of my favorite soda, Lemon Lime out of the refrigerator. Both of my friends grabbed Coca-Colas. They are like twins, they do everything the same. They’ve known each other since they were three. Kind of like me and my friend Jessica. Jessica couldn’t come today because she had “Pink Eye”.
I grabbed another slice, but this time pepperoni. My mom and dad came down; in unison they said “Pizza!” They ran to the table to grab a slice. They’re just like me and my friends sometimes it’s hilarious.
We finished our pizza and ran back upstairs. We were playing “Truth or Dare”. “Truth or Dare Elizabeth” Ally asked. I answered “Truth!” She asked me “Have you ever eaten Blue Cheese?” I thought to myself what kind of question was that?
I answered “Of course I have what kind of question was that?” We all just started laughing. Saturday nights are so much fun.
I have a computer in my room and friends wanted me to see something and wanted me to join. It was called Virtual Magic Kingdom or VMK for short. Me being such a Disney freak as I am I joined in a snap!
First I signed up with Disney. Then, we got to the game. It was so cool! It looked just like Magic Kingdom. I made my character it looked like me, blonde hair, and big eyes.
I met some people they were pretty cool, but not as cool as my real friends. I checked my watch, “Oh wow it’s already 12 o’clock. Guys I think it’s time to go to bed” I said. No one answered. “Guys?” I looked behind me and saw them sleeping. I said to me out loud “Wow, time goes by when you’re having fun!” I jumped in the shower and put my pajamas on, turned on the television and drifted away to dreamland.

Chapter 2: First Day of School

“Wake up! Wake up!” yelled my mom “First day of school!” It was 8 o’clock. Thank God we aren’t in elementary school because then we would have to wake up at 7 o’clock. I don’t know what I’m going to do about high school but I have a couple of years to worry about that.
Me and my friends ran to get our clothes. I was going to wear a denim jean skirt and a pink t-shirt that says “Brother 4 Sale”. Ally was wearing a blue t-shirt with red flowers on it and a red skirt. Lastly, Michelle was wearing a green tank top with blue jeans. Always count on Michelle to stand out.
We went to the bathroom to do our hair. I just pulled my hair back, and like always Michelle and Ally put their hair down.
We ran to put our shoes on, mine of course are Vans, Michelle’s are Nikes and if Michelle’s are Nikes then so are Ally’s. We grabbed our backpacks so full of school supplies and ran to my mom’s car and we embarked on our mission.
Erk went my mom’s car. There it was John F. Kennedy Middle School. We took a deep breath and dived in.
We saw eighth graders and seventh graders looking so much taller than us. We even saw a kid with a moustache! “Oh my goodness” I thought to myself “How I am ever going to survive middle school?” I saw my friend from elementary school, Jackie. She joined us walking to our classes. We made it to the sixth grade building and searched for our first class. My first class was Math and so was Ally’s. Jackie and Michelle had Science. Luckily at the end of the day we would meet up again at Drama. We all picked the same electives so we would have at least one class together. We walked into the class and met our teacher Mrs. Moth. She seemed nice, and our homework was so easy, getting our syllabus signed by our parents.
“I think I’m going to like middle school!” Ally said to me. “I wonder how Jackie and Michelle are doing because we have science next!”
Ring! There goes the bell. We asked Johanna and Michelle how it was and they said “It was fine; I think that class will be one of my favorites.”
Ah, it was finally the end of the day. Drama time! Me, Ally, Jackie, and Michelle all met at the Drama classroom. Her name was Ms. Harrington. She seemed pretty nice, but the kids in the class seemed a little untamed, like little lion cubs at the zoo. She also gave a syllabus to get signed by our parents like all our other teachers.
“Well at least I’m glad I don’t have to do any homework.” I told my friends. “I remember in elementary school we had to do homework on the first day of school.”
Honk Honk! “Oh there goes my ride” said Jackie “I’d better get going!” Me Ally, and Michelle started walking to my house. As we were walking I asked my friends how they liked school. They both answered “Oh yeah!” As we got to my house a couple of seventh graders teased us. I guess it’s our turn, they got teased last year.
We walked in the door. Ha-ha went my little brother, I thought to myself “Fourth Graders”. Well then of course we went upstairs to my room and played VMK. Of course I went first because I am the fastest runner. As we were on the computer my friends asked me what clubs and sports I wanted to go for. I of course said soccer, track, and student government, I love being the boss.
6 o’clock time for dinner! We ran downstairs and to our surprise a Barbeque Chicken my favorite! Mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese! We ate like a bunch of pigs. After dinner, Ally and Michelle went home. It was a wonderful first day of school.
