It has affected by area to because the ppl who were in that dome in Louisiana are now moving to the Astrodome by me. Also five 5th graders at my school are going there until there school in Louisiana in rebuilt, this might be a few months or maybe next year.

A new student came to my school from LA. We were told that both his parents died in Hurricane Kat. I am not sure if it is a rumor or truth; I should talk to him.

I feel bad for all of them i was hit by it but not bad when it hit me it was CATAGORY:1

My school is donating water, canned food, toys (to all the kids poor them :( ), and blankets and pillows if you can try to help out yourself or try to make your community help too that would be great especially for everyone over there in LA and stuff i hope you can help thx :)

There were 24,000 people at the Superdome as of two days ago. They are now attempting to move all the hurricane refugees to Texas, so far, the Astrodome is filled to capacity at 11,000 people and are filling up a nearby convention center. They are also sending people to Houston, and other cities in Texas. New Orleans is still under Martial Law, which means pretty much every person for themselves. They are currently trying to patch up the levees, which broke flooding the city, and hopefully will have New Orleans cleared of water by next week.

i know doesnt that stink i feel sorry for all those homeless peeps just walking around and that the super dome flooded that is sad too

well it is so horrible my dad is going there today or sometime in the next two days. i know two familys that live down there and have no idea if they survived or not.we bought alot of stuff for the people down there.it is so sad:(

Well, we all have to know that we are sad about this happening. It is a mighty sad event. We should move on, and try to help these people stranded in dirty waste water. Keep watching the news, and watch as things get better for New Orleans.

feel so sorry for new orleans what a great place now being destroyed

yeah my aunt lisa livees there and she is rich as well as i am and she prayed over all four of her houses when hurricane katrina hit her and her family went up in there private jet plane and looked for there houses they did not find them but i was here in california watching the news and i saw all four of there houses i called them and told them it took them 6 hours to get to each house this just shows you that ***** christ can do anything in one simple prayer so trust god and ask him into your heart today and you will feel better about yourslef and you will go to heaven !!!!!!!!!

ps: there cars bikes and everything else was okay nothing got touched !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really think New Orleans can benefit from this storm. Next storm, EVACUATE!! And please edit your post Harlen, no religious things here.

I am thinking about getting my lemonade stand out and raising money for the ppl affected by the storm.

:minniemo: I have 300 people coming to my high school who survived Hurrican Katrina. I am so excited to have them come. I felt so bad and now I feel like I can really help out even if it is just by being someones friend. :minniemo:
