Oh noes, not two dollars!

Sorry, I can't help it. I haven't spent less than $2.30 in almost a year and I believe that's actually below the national average.

By the way, the "other place" was Stockbridge, Georgia where premium was $6.07. It may sound scary, but the price was lowered by the end of the day after the Governer signed an executive order about price-gouging.

Write a letter to our president and ask him why gas is so expensive.

The immediate issue with gas in Georgia is not the oil rigs, but the fact the two piplines that supply 25-30% of the states gas supply have been without power. And someone started a rumor that got to the media that the gas stations were going to shut down at 2:00 pm this past Wednesday. That started a panic run on the gas stations, which in turn created an artificial shortage which in turn opened the door for gouging by the station owners. I saw one station owner that was asked by a local news crew why he was charging $5.58 a gallon for regular gas. He stated that nobody was buying anything in the store, all they wanted was gas and he had to make money somewhere. So the fact that he was not making any in-store sales that day, he decided to take advantage of the panic and his gas prices jumped an extra $3.00 per gallon in a matter of minutes. I also heard the those station owners who are going to be charged with price gouging will be fines $5,000 per customer gouged, $15,000 if they person gouged was a senior citizen.

You think 2 dollars is a lot!!?!!? TRY 4 DOLLARS! It is in the high 3 dollars right now, on it's way to 4. Now I cannot even get my hair highlighted anymore, this is so insane. I hate it. Why don't we all just drive solar powered cars?

just think we used to think 2 dallers was high and now we think this is high i few years from now we will be saying it was nice when gas was 4 dallers and not 20 LOLI would assume the US government would start rationing gas long before that point. If the prices ever reached such an extraordinary high, most people, where possible, would just stop purchasing unless the situation was dire. Nobody needs to drive to a shop six miles away. They can just as easily hop on a bicycle and get there in 10-20 minutes with casual pedaling.

The low gas prices keep Americans lazy, maybe rising prices aren't such a bad thing afterall. I kid.

Yes I do mean $2.99 and 9/10 of a cent. I forgot to add that, but it is still under $3.00, but just barely, lol.

Well, Georgia, Alabama, and Lousiana have it the worst.

I still remember when people were ready to boycott gas when it hit $2.00

My father uses premium, and has had to pay $4.20. Thank god he's rich. :D

My Mother also uses regular, and the gas station she goes to, can can not find any lower, is $4.02.
