Enjoy my story about a girl who comes to a new house and discovers something totally strange.
Chapter 1
The New House
"We'll take it!" Kailey's dad yelled out while looking around a house. The The Summers' family has been looking for a new house for a month. Now, Kailey's dad has found a huge house with five bedrooms, theree bathrooms, kitchen, living room, three floors, and a attic. They looked through all of it again and again. Kailey's mom has finally wanted a perfect house with exactly what this house has had in it. After a full month she kept on getting down to being exact in everything. From bathroom size to staircase length.
Kailey went to look upstairs to find a cool room for her to be in. She did not even know why a family of three would like to have a house with five bedrooms but, she didn't exactly care. She went into a room that was very spacious, it had a walk-in closet, and purple (her favorite color) flooring. "Perfect!" She said. "Mom come see!" "Hold up honey. We are doing the paperwork." "Fine!" Kailey yelled back.
A month later they came with the moving truck and started to move in. Kailey helped with her furniture to put in her room. But as they were unloading she noticed something that she hasn't noticed before. There was another stairway on the top floor. It seems to her like it has been built or something while they were gone. Kailey went to go to her mom but when she came up it was gone. "Weird" Kailey said beneath her breath.
Chapter 2
The Attic
Kailey waited until the next day to see if the staircase would appear again. She waited for at least an hour upstairs, in her room, all morning. "Kailey! Come eat breakfast you've been up there too long." Her dad called up to her. "Ok" Kailey decided. She gave up and went on downstairs to eat. She then went back up into her room to get some stuff to but on the bottom floor but as she was up there she saw that stair case again. She immediatly dropped her stuff and gasped.
She went up to it and put her foot on the first step to see if it was real then she took it right off. She looked up it and saw a dark room with a small light on top of it. She started to go up the staircase. Not looking back, all of a sudden the stairs, like a escalatorit swooped her up into the next floor. She screemed. When she got up there and realized what happened she grabbed a lantern and started to wonder around it. There was dusty old things like a record player, and a small what looks like a black and white television.
Then she saw a black door. It looked like a medevil door, like a castle door except modernized to fit this room. She dusted it off and opened it slowly.
Chapter 3
Inside
She looked inside and there was a night sky. It looked to be space except she could breathe without a helmet or space clothes. "Oh My goodness" Kailey said. She started to go in as slow as possible. and when she got in it was weird because it didn't see like she was actually in space from what she has read. She could stand without spinning anti-gravity or anything else.
She heard a engine sound behind the door in back of her. she opened the door to look inside and see if she can go back into her home. But when she opened it there was only the stars and more space. Then, the engine sound got louder and louder. She looked further and was what looked like a space ship in the distance. Not a space ship like down on Earth but what you would expect in a science fiction movie. Kailey gasped.
As it got closer she saw what was inside it. A person which looked to have green skin. Or maybe even an... alien?? No, this couldn't be right. Or could it? Aliens are of course still a mystery yet to be revealed. Then the ship just went past her. Then she saw the landing point. It was what looked to be another planet. Like a space port of some sort. She noticed that she could walk further into the space. She got closer and walked faster as she saw what was on it.
Chapter 4
The Space Port
Kailey finally got onto the port. Nobody was there, nothing at all. Then when the spaceship landed she ran around trying to find the sound. She backed up since she was kind of frightened of what was here. Then she bumped into something or someone. "Ahh!" She heard from the voice behind her which seems like it was backing up too. She turned around and screamed Ahh!!!" It was that person in the ship she saw. "Wh-Wh-wh-who are you?" Kailey said. "Let me ask who and what are you?" The person said. "Same question." Kailey answered. The person looked astonished. "You must be a human." It said. "Y-y-y-yes.. And y-y-your not?" Kailey said starting to get freaked out. "No. I am a student at the Federal Allience Council College." It said. Kailey started to run back to the door she came through. "Wait! You have to help us." It said. Kailey kept o trying to open the door. It seemed to be locked. When she finally got it opened there was nothing but space through it. She opened and closed and opened and closed until she saw the room again. She quickly ran back into the room. "Phew! That was scary. Now, to tell mom and dad." Kailey said and ran back down stairs.
"Good for you honey" Kailey's dad said. "But Dad it was real the alien the space port everything!!" Kailey yelled back. "I thought we got rid of you and your imagination when you were five." He said to her. "Grr! Fine. Let me show you." Kailey said. She grabbed his hand and lead him up to the staircase. And led him up to the door, opened it up but nothing was there. "Ok You were playing in a closet." Her dad said. "But-" Kailey said. The her dad left.
