man this stinks school starts today for me! yes we have two days this week of school. these two days will be nothing but rules so its really dumb. when does/did anyone start school. BTW Xucid has school today too (hes my brother IRL)

same here! i go back to next week the 8th! I'm a happy camper! Computer computer, talk on phone, Minniesoda, CT. Cousina come over, i go over freinds place, School shopping on saturday( AshleyM i'll pm u where ;) ) then school! that is my summer! BORING! =P

Today was my first day of school. Tomorrow is basically my first day too since it will be Day 2 instead of Day 1 (block scheduling). I had a lot of fun. Except I got lost trying to find my math class so I had to ask an upperclassman for help! :eek:

I go back Spetember 8th. I am going into 7th grade which is my second year of middle school. For anyone starting Middle School don't worry about getting lost or late for class till 3 weeks into the year. Anyway I need school as VMK took over my life. I have spent all summer on VMK and VMK Forums.

I am from Staten Island New York we do not END school till June 27th!

I started a tad less than a month ago. August 4th to be exact. The first few days were all about rules and everything. After about a week, homeroom stopped and we started getting serious. I already had two essays, in Social Studies. We aren't doing anything big in English 1 Honors yet, but Mrs. Brownlee said we would. Sure hope it isn't anything that keeps me from VMK for a whole day! I wanted to post my schedule:

1st Period - Homeroom
2nd Period - English 1 Honors
3rd Period - Earth Science
4th Period - Social Studies - SC History
Lunch
Break
5th Period - Phy. Ed(A) or Chorus (B)
6th Period - Pre-Algebra (Waaayyyy to easy, I should be in Algebra 1 Honors)

My First Day of School Is Actually In Two Weeks! I tought it would be last Monday! Lol! Me Lucky! Lol! :wave2:

i started school lasy week we started work the day we got there and haven't stopped i wanted to go back but now all i want to do is not go to schoolbut i may not have to got o school because of gas we don't have any gas to fill the buses so we may not got o school or maybe just like a half day :)

You don't speak for me. I think that you are given a free education in this country (unless you are paying for private education.) What you choose to do with that is entirely up to you.
But do not look a free gift in the mouth. You don't like it, do something about it.

Ah my favorite phrase to hear (and read) "I am bored, this is boring" etc.

Let me say this . . . there are no boring things only boring people. Boring is as boring does - so if you are bored it is your own fault. Do something about it but don't complain to everyone else about it.

Ideas: Change your routine to make things more fun. Try doing your homework in a way that is more colorful (but still sticking to the guidelines, of course.) Make a point to say hi to everyone you see that day. Say hi to a teacher and see if there is anything that you can do to help them out. Make up a new game at lunchtime. join a club, band, choir, orchestra. There is sooooo much that you can do to entertain yourself so stop being bored! School is not there for your entertainment - it is there to help you grow and become a better human being, a viable member of society, and a person with a brain to make informed decisions in your life.

I totally agree with SpinMarty! Make changes so that way your life is always different everyday. :)

i've been in school since august 10.... lol. and i go to public school!

i like school it is fun :) you eat pizza and get candy 1 poblem on math like two plus two and it only lasts from 1:00 to 1:30 it is cool!!

Today was my first day of highschool! w0ot!

It was alright, I only got lost once! And a nice upperclassman helped me so I was fine. Tomorrow I have basically another first day (Day 2).
