i was downloading '' The Sims 2 '' and my CD drive wouldnt open for the 3rd CD-Rom and now its broken!! this made me mad because its pretty much a new computer..

Does it still have any power to it? Try to open the drive, if a little green light comes on, but no drive pop-out, then get a paper clip bend it so it is almost flat then put it in the little hole that is around the light. Push it way in there and then your CD Drive will pop-out, but you will have to grab it and pull it out. No motor is going to move it for you after you use a paper clip. Once you have got the CD out and the Drive closed, restart your computer. That should solve it.

Lucky! I want a CD burner! Only my parents have one. So i have to send them the songs through email or using this thing. I wonder how expensive that CD drive was...

Lightscribe by HP is the only burner that can burn covers to the CD/DVD, and it only comes in a DVD Burner.

HP is no longer the only lightscribe DVD burner, there are some generic lightscribe burners and some brand name lightscribe burners

go buy a new CD drive and take the other one out and the game out
