The Japanese character "ha" is often said like "wa" in a sentence as a particle. Kishi decided to take the Japanese word for "unfoldible fan", "uchiwa", and play on that a little and creating the word "uchiha". Notice how the clan logo is a round fan. :D

This went on for a bit. For the sake of timeliness, this was all removed.
You could almost see the electricity going between their eyes. "How about we resolve this with a sing-off!" a helpful but dorky Uchiha named Galaxee suggested.
"That's not a bad idea..." said Naruto and Sasuke in unison.
"Hey! You can't agree with me!" shouted Sasuke.
"I just did!" retorted Naruto, making a face at Sasuke.
"Quiet, you two! Now go pick your songs..."
Sasuke made a face at Naruto, and they went off to choose their songs.
"You have 10 minutes to practice. I, Itachi, Tsunade, Dudejoejoe and RubyRubia will be the judges."
Sasuke turned around, eyes blazing. "Uchiha... Itachi...?" he growled. He charged at Itachi, who was taking a siesta at the judges' table. Unfortunately, Galaxee was straight between the table and Sasuke.
"And no hurting the judges, you hear?" Galaxee said, putting her hand on Sasuke's head. He tried to swing at her, but because Galaxee was holding his head, he couldn't. Galaxee pushed him off to the side, getting in a round-house kick. Sasuke made a muffled moan. It was unlike any other sound ever made. Galaxee sauntered back to the judges table and stared at Itachi the whole time. Itachi just snored.

Know what I've noticed that might hold true? There are a few "trends" in Naruto...
Everytime an Akatsuki member takes off their cloak (probably symbolizing revealing their true power), they show their power and die soon. At least was the case with Sasori, I think Kakuzu may follow suit.
Also, every character with a sad past was not killed by a hero. For example, Haku had a sad past, but he died on accident, as Kakashi was meaning to kill Zabuza but Haku stepped in. Gaara was killed by Deidara (not a hero, as awesome as she is). And so on.

The reason I hate Sasuke is he is a stuck up, stubborn, overly confident baby. He lives only to kill, nice personality huh? He would give up his body to a 53 year old Snake-Charmer. He paifully gained a friend only to try and kill him. That is the personality of an insane person. He thinks that because he has the Sharingan he can beat anybody. But Lee helped him realize he wasn't so tough (The Lee v. Sasuke fight). He is an emotionless killing machine (Much like Gaara) that has no feelings for anybody but himself. Sasuke needs to get a big slap on his face to wake him up from his little "catch the Uchiha" fantasy. He needs to realize that there is more to life than giving your life up for a freaky snake dude just to kill somebody.

Is that a good enough reason?
