I'm now officially stopping the story. Read post #45 on page 5 Thanx.
I'm decating this to my friend Kimee. She has always liked my stories, and is an awesome friend!
Chapter 1:
*BEEP* *BEEP* Charlie hit the snooze button for the 5th time this morning, and rolled off the bed. "OW!" she yelled at herself. Well.. at least she was up now. Her head turned to see what time it was, flashing in green numbers her clock read : 7:58. Her eyes almost popped out of her sockets. Her bus was coming to pick her up in 2 minutes.
Quickly she grabbed a navy blue T-shirt with gold letter on the front that read: I'm having one of those days. Charlie pulled her jeans on, and shoved her brush into her backpack. Charlie ran out the front door at the exact same moment the bus lefted the stop and zoomed right past her.
"Ugg.. not again!" Charlie complained.
Charlie is a average 14 year old teenage girl - well except for the fact she is very clumsy. She has big deep brown eyes the color of dark chocolate. Her dirty blonde hair keeps falling into her roundish face, as she climbed over her bike riding as fast as she could to school.
)(~♥◊♥~)(
*BRRIINNGG* The bell rang for lunch.
"Hey CJ!! Over Here!" yelled Charlie's best friend Matt. Matt was also 14, he was the only friend Charlie ever had. He called her CJ since her middle name was Jannet, and her first was Charlie.
"I can't believe I missed the bus again!" she screamed in frustration.
"Dude, at least you made it to school on time, the last time I missed the bus I missed first period... well you remember the rest." Matt said.
"Dude -et" Charlie corrected him laughing.
Chapter 2:
The long tiring day was finally over. "Hey CJ, want to come over to my place and study for the big science test tomorrow?" Matt asked.
"Uh.. sure I guess, I will meet you there since I have to ride my bike!" CJ replied.
"Okay see you at my house at 4." Matt yelled behind his back. CJ stood there staring at her bike. Something seems.. err different about it... She looked all over it, trying to figure out whats wrong with it. Ben, CJ's nextdoor neighbor walked over to CJ.
"What are you doing?!" asked Ben.
"I'm just uh.. fixing my bike! Yea thats it I'm fixing my bike!" CJ quickly said. Ben gave her a weird look then started to walk home. Whew! That was a close one. I guess I will just ride my bike the way it is, but it doesn't feel the same!
CJ climbed onto her bike and rode over to Matt's house. Out of no where a big green flash went down like a light bolt right in front of her. CJ fell off of her bike onto the grass helpless. She couldn't move, her head felt as heavy as an elephant. Her body quivered. HELP ME!! Help Please! Somebody! CJ was too weak to move or talk. All that seem to happen with her effort was tears streaming out of her eyes, scared for not knowing what is happening.
Chapter 3:
My head was pounding. I layed there breathless tossing, and turning. All of a sudden my body jerks up with my eyes wide open staring at my surrounding.... one thing I knew for sure, I wasn't in Chicago anymore.
CJ closed her eyes, and rubbed them hard, and slowly opened them again. I must be dreaming. I MUST be!!
It was exactly how it was before.
Tears were streaming down her cheeks, "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME!!" she screamed.
She opened her eyes one more time, the view was all blurry from crying. To the left of CJ was a huge bom fire burnt out reciently, behind that looked like a castle
All around her were wooden poles, carved into each one was a different person. Well not even a person more like a 'thing'.
This 'thing' was the size of a normal person, with ratty snarled hair, that went down to their waste, with horns sticking out of their head, one on each side. They had small eyes, looks like as if they were swinting, Their ears were point at the top of them, and their noses stuck out as if it was Pinocchio's.
The body was very thin, they wore a dress that went down to about it's knees, and ripped at the bottom and the sleeves. Oh yes, one very important detail. They had wings.
CJ stopped acting like a baby, and started to exaim the poles more closely, each one looked like she had seen them before. In a far-off memory.
)(~♥◊♥~)(
Annabelle was on her way back home from searching around the castle bounderies, for trouble. She was about to go inside, when she saw something unusal across the river. Annabelle knew wisely that she was not allowed to cross the river since it went into enemy territories. Annabelle tried to erase what she saw and go inside. She stopped moving, and was temped to turn around and see what was across the river. She knew it was wrong, but it seemed to pull her into it.
"Annabelle, you're so going to get yourself in trouble this time." she whispered to herself before she ran down the hill towards the river.
Trying not to disturbe what ever was their, she decided not to fly. Steadily she walked across the stepping stones.
)(~♥◊♥~)(
CJ stopped looking at the poles, and froze. She felt as if someone was watching her. She turned quickly, and looked around. She saw nothing but the poles. Still CJ wouldn't be satisfied with that. CJ was looking around and was walking backwards. She heard a twig break, and jumped around, she was about to scream, but Annabelle put her hands on CJ's mouth to make her be quiet.
Chapter 4:
"Uhh.. Sir, I mean your majesty, uh... well.." said Stacy, one of the Castle Workers.
"Get on with it please Stacy!" demanded the King.
"Well.. Annabelle seems to be eerr... missing" finished Stacy.
"WHAT!!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE WATCHING HER!" the King screamed with outrage, " You know they are tracking her down! They would take any moment to steal her away from us!" Stacy stared at the King in horror, he did get loud and angery when he was mad, but Stacy has never seen him like this!
"Well.. your majesty, she just slipped away.. y- " Stacy was cut off.
"Uh.. hi father!" quispered Annabelle as she walked into the room with her head down, quiety Stacy left." I'm ever so sorry that I left, just the birds were calling me! And the flowers looked so beautiful! Oh Father! How can you keep me locked up in here? I hate it, its so cold, dark, and damp!"
"Annabelle, I understand that you loved to go outside, but we are keeping you in here for your own pretection!"
"But Father!" Annabelle protested
"No Buts! Off to your room!"
)(~♥◊♥~)(
CJ stared at Annabelle's room, it was so..soo Different! CJ just loved it! The door opened a crack quickly Annabelle jumped in and started to cry. Confused CJ walked over to her.
"Annabelle, I know you aren't exactly happy right now, but can you please tell me whats going on!!" said CJ.
"Well.." sobbed Annabelle, "It all started out, many years ago before I was born. The dark faries took over the whole land, except our Kingdom. There was a prophecy that the 4th born child in the year, 3000, would save the land.
"Wait a minute, its year 3000!?!" asked CJ
"No...its year 3015, I was born in year 3000." replied Annabelle.
"WOHA! Where I come from its only year 2006!"
"Yes, CJ you're in a different world." said annabelle looking down.
"A DIFFERENT WORLD!?!? You just told me that...that... ooohh!" CJ was silent, "Then how did I get here?"
"I don't know.." Annabelle looked distracted. "There must be some reason, if the Gods pulled you in here. I was the 4th child born that year, CJ, I'm the propheyed child. People except so much from me, that I can't do." Annabelle was in tears again. CJ stared at her confused, and lost. Wishing that this was all a big dream.
Chapter 5:
"Annabelle?" CJ quispered staring at the full moon.
"Yes..?" Annabelle replied.
"Where was I when you found me?"
Annabelle turned over on her bed and rubbed her eyes, then yawned, "In the dark faries kindgom."
"If I was sent here, why would I show up there?"
"I don't know Charlie! Just go back to sleep."
CJ layed on Annabelle's floor with a blanket and pillow. Her eyes were wide open finally relizing that she may never see her family again. She may never see Matt again. Tears started trickling down her cheek. There is some way to get home, CJ knew it, but was too cowardly to admit it.
)(~♥◊♥~)(
In the morning CJ left early, making sure she didn't wake Annabelle. CJ was going back to the dark faries kingdom to see if she can get home. Carefully CJ jumped off the windowsile, and started to climb down the grape vines to the bottom. If anyone saw CJ she was gone. As she walked passed the castle she stopped at the villiage. Her eyes went wide open, faries weren't the only thing in this world.
All around her were creatures of all the sorts, but one seemed to fasinate her. CJ was drawn to the villiage, as if it was pulling her in. She kept fighting it, but too late. She was already walking down the path. She cover her hands over her eyes whispering, "I'm not seeing this, I'm not seeing this!!"
"Good day young quan. Would you like any jewels?" a goblin asked her. A quan?
CJ shook her head, "Excuse me but what is a erm.. quan?" she asked. The goblin stared at her and laughed as if she was joking. Angery CJ kept walking down the path.
A woman - well thats what CJ thought she was, in a bright red dress, came running over to CJ, and grabbed her arm.
"Who-" CJ all of a sudden couldn't speak. The woman mouthed 'Be Quiet'. Having no choice CJ followed her into a dark alley.
Chapter 6:
The brick looked as if it was going to crumble into dust. A horrid smell lingered where CJ was standing. Smelling of sour milk or bad cabbage. The crooked pathment had green clumps of what it looked like jello stuck to the sides. CJ didn't want to know what it really was. The women stoped making the quiet signal, CJ was finally able to talk, as if someone just stopped gaging her.
"Who..who..are you?" CJ studdered. Something was creepy about her, and CJ wasn't taking any chances with this women.
"Quan, Eliza." She said in a husted voice. There was that word again. Quan. What in the world is a Quan!?!
"Uhh...I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, but what do you mean by quan?" asked CJ. This was more of an adventure than she supected. I wonder how Annabelle is... I mean I just left her. I hope there isn't too much pressure put on her.
"Oh your little friend isn't pressured my dear. She made that story up. She tricked you, right through her smile, and pleades." Eliza this creepy quan women cackled. Omigod! She can read my thoughts!Wait.. she is reading them right now!! CJ started to panic, nothing like this has ever happened before. All she wanted was to go home! No more confusion! Tears began to swell up in CJ's eyes just thinking about home.
"My little girl, don't be afraid. I'm on your side. After all quan's can't lie." said Eliza. Charlie, you can't hide from me. I'm everywhere. I know you keep wondering what quan means. Instead of trying to figure that out, just look in the mirror then you'll see.
)(~♥◊♥~)(
Annabelle woke to a start. Beads of sweat were all around her face, a corner of her wings was bent, but Annabelle didn't seem to noticed. It just dawned on her why CJ was here. She needed to find CJ to make sure that she hasn't run away. Looking over the edge of her bed, the only thing left on the floor was a pillow and a blanket neatly tucked.
"CHARLIE!!" Annabelle screamed in horror. Her kingdom, her family's kingdom, everyone's kingdom, was going to ashes.
Hope you guys like it! ;)
