Last night Gertle and I were talking - "Wouldn't it be cool to bring Soarin' to VMK?"

Well that got me hooked from there, and I built a ride plan!

Now, all we're looking for is some extremely talented people who aren't afraid to spend a ton of credits on one room.

I'm looking for the best of the best to help complete this project. Please note, this isn't for best guest room or a ride competition, but for fun.

Oh, and the ride will be walk through. Yes, you can make the path over the objects and such, to simulate flying.

This looks AWESOME!!! I love the ride Soarin :) Sadly, I dont qualify. Actually, I'd rather walk through it than make it. Cant wait for it to open! Be sure to tell us when it does actually open!

Sounds great, but it would be best to do one room right now, not two of them. This way, you can focus your credits to making it great. Can you pick one of those two?

You won't need to use a base on every single thing, most of it will be walking on the ground..right?

Remember workers, watch that video to see EXACTLY what you need to build. This isn't going to be a cheap project remember, only 1 room a person means more credits put in a single place!

I really don't know, maybe have it against a wall and use boxes stacked up to make it look like arches? This is going to be a toughy..

I was thinking put a layer of crates straight through the room, with the mickey lanterns at either side to make it look like poles. But then put extra tree trunks to make them higher, then cover those up.

For the orange fields, just put a lot of swamp trees into the briar room, then add a few mickey pumpkins at the front, to make it look like its all the way back. I wish we could include the smell lol.

I just noticed I have a water fall of my section too. I got a nice idea :)

Ok, here's what I've got going on:

The name of my room is "Orange Fields", but if you'd like me to change it, I'll do so. It will be in a Mad Hatter's Tea Party room, because I thought the whole "green" ambience fits the whole "orange grove" concept. Again, if you'd like it somewhere else, just tell me. :)

I've got about 100 swamp trees at my disposal, so I was just wondering where exactly you'd like the walkway to be? Would you like it down the center of the room, or off to the side. In my opinion, I think swamp trees (or other trees) would look great on both sides! ;)

It is a nice room, Gertle. You just need to utilize the left side of the room, with maybe a layer of crates and then some ice. Have it look sloped going up to the walking section.

Start on the left and right sides of the room with leota tables. Then pile brown crates on top of them. In the middle of it, make it like a canyon, and put pirate sand rugs in there so people can walk. Then add cacti lamps.

Try to elevate farther in, and make it go lower near the water in the room.

i mentioned to you yesterday that the reason i could not help is because i myself am making a ride (something i created, not Soarin'). If you will consider, maybe you and i can negotiate, so we can some how tie in our rides (still 2 different rides) where we can work together or connect the rooms at the ends (so people can enter 1 ride after going through the other), or something creative. So yeah, your my friend in vmk schmoofy, just send me a message to let me know.

It might save your box space... you can even get the URL, make links, and also add it to your favorites (to open when you are not ever in this forum)...

This was jast to see if I could get a path way up there (I think it is one of the few rooms that let you go way up there)... I had some extra parts, and it started to look like a castle- plenty of space to set off fire works, just not seeing a way to make fire works part of the room- that back wall holds a lot of photos.

If you get a castle you like better, I think I could morph it into the Golden Gate Bridge...

The balloons??? That is a tough one...

I got the wells to link, so you teleport back and forth. Still adding more crates to make more of a brick wall feeling... and I always had spots for the Tron teleporter- if they ever show up...

may I ask how you teleport back and forth in the wells?

I know, people are not seeing that.... I am forced to make more, and more of the teleporters show...

You can hide the whole thing, like getting into the room- I had the ride start completely covered (just a big bule slide part to let you in)...

I had to open that up and put another slide part in there... still, oh well...

The Wells... look above the spooky tree. One ride START (putting you in the well), you will jump that into your ride teleporter> to the other Well (snow in back of the Light Post)... Again, the Start puts you in the Well- Click the teleporter to jump the start...

Now the Well is a chair that only has 2 ways in (the best chairs let you in from any place). Really 1 way in, but you can move over a seat- click the bucket, or that light.

The ride Start will work "Off Center". The tree side, has 2 teleporters (Only 1 Start)....

I keep 1 side of the chair open (In Back)- you have to have it open, OR another START to be able to get to the other seat if you got a guest in there..

But I could go from the well, to the car, and 1 other place (4 teleporters on 1 well), but I kept the car a puzzel, for guests to solve...

from my previous experience wit schmoofy i can say this project will NEVER get finished. but it will be a GREAT thing if it does get finished

With Tron month, and all the new Halloween things coming out, the project has come to a hault.

my name on vmk is Apeman and i have lots of crates and ice to make the castle and i will have some of my friends with 5* fireworks to stand behind it hidden doing fireworks so it will look like fireworks are going off

actually i opened a themepark but i closed it ( was for christmas only ) and it is now done for good but it had fifteen rooms and they werent dumb. i didnt mean any offense to schmoofy it just seemed like he never wanted to finish anyways he kept putting it off and alot of things
