Hey everyone! I figured it would be interesting for people to post their critiques of certain rides around the Walt Disney World Resort. Here's the questions-

Attraction Name - Soarin'
Location - Future World, at EPCOT, in "The Land" pavillion
Fast Pass? - Yes, there's a Fast Pass
Does the Ride Rock? - Without a doubt, yes it does!
Why Does the Ride Rock? - The simulators are amazing, the video is amazing, the entire experience is just breath taking
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best... - 8, the scenes just flash from one to the next, but the musical score keeps it all together nicely!
What's the Ride for? - It's a family ride, great for adults especially.

Attraction Name- Expedition Everest
Location- Asia, Animal Kingdom
Fast Pass?- Yes
Does the Ride Rock?- Duh it does!!! :)
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- It goes backwards, takes your picture, has awesome scenery, imagineers worked very hard on this ride :D
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 10
What's the Ride for?-People who don't have back problems :Tongue:

Attraction Name- Buzz Lighyears Astro Blasters
Location-In Tomorrowland near Sititches Great Escape.
Fast Pass?-Yes
Does the Ride Rock?-Indeed it Does!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?-It is fun spinning your cart and shooting at the tragets also the things in the backround are cool looking
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- Probably a 8 it is hard to see where your shooting at.
What's the Ride for?-Adult's And Kids Alike :)

Attraction Name-Rockin' Rollercoaster
Location-mgm studios, near tower of terror
Fast Pass?-of course!
Does the Ride Rock?-considering the title, of course it rocks!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?-its in the dark with a few twists and turns upside down, and the music of aerosmith ROCKS
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...-10
What's the Ride for?people free of back problems and who can meet the height requierments :)

Attraction Name- Pirates of the Caribbean
Location- New Orleans Square for DLR and for WDW, Adventureland
Fast Pass?- I think so
Does the Ride Rock?- Oh yeah it does!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- It's just awesome! All the Pirate-isam, and then with the new additions they made, it rocks!
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 9/10 It's really cool how they make everything life like! but the Water fall speical effect is awesome, on the down side, it's kida short
What's the Ride for?- its in between its for Family, Teens, and kids

Attraction Name: CyberSpace Mountain
Location: DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, Downtown Disney West side
Fastpass? No, however the lines go fast!
Does the Ride Rock? Yes
Why does it rock? You create your coaster... then RIDE IT!!!
Rating: ********** out of **********
Who's it for? it's for anybody who has no problems with themself, and who knows their limits.

Mind if we do Disneyland rides too?

Attraction Name- Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye :tiki8gt:
Location- Adventureland at Disneyland
Fastpass? Yes!
Does the Ride Rock? Oh yeah!
Why Does it rock? It is a different experience each time! It is also really bumpy, jerky, and out of control!
Rating- 9/10 because it's a bit short and it goes so fast that you don't have enough time to take in details.
Who's it for? For young kids brave enough but mostly for older kids and adults

Attraction Name - Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Location - Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom near Astro Orbiter
Fast Pass? - no not needed at all.
Does the Ride Rock? - i think so but i guess its more for a relaxer
Why Does the Ride Rock? - I love it because its fun and a great ride to get off your feet and relax on
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best... - 7 not a thrill but still a great ride.
What's the Ride for? Everyone of every age.

Attraction Name-Test Track
Location-Future World, EPCOT, on the right of Mission: Space
Fast Pass?-Sure is!
Does the Ride Rock?-Yes, this ride does rock
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?-With all the car tests and the final speed test, what doesn't rock about it?
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...-I would give it a 9, the ride isn't aging the best and some of the effects aren't timed right anymore
What's the Ride for?-Anyone clear f any back/neck problems, as it does get bumpy

Attractioin Name- Stitch Great Escape (Disney's Great Escape)
Location- Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom (Fl)
Fast Pass- Unfortunately...yes
Does the Ride Rock- Without a doubt NO!!!!
Why Doesn't the Ride Rock?- Rushed, cheaply done, had a chance to be a great attraction, and it replace a great (and one of my favourites) attraction (Alien Encounter)
Scale of 1 to 10- 4!!!
What's the Ride for?- If I knew that I'd tell you!

Location- Where ExtraTERROResterial used to be, in Tomorrowland at WDW
Fast Pass?- Yup
Does the Ride Rock?- No, it stinks!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- It does not rock because it was lame and pointless and you kept waiting for something to happen and the chili dog thing was gross!
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 1/10
What's the Ride for?- For people who have never been to WDW and enjoy getting lured in by a cute blue alien that they went to the theatre to see and enjoyed the movie. Little do they know that the ride itself is very disapointing.

Does The Ride Rock - oh yeah!
Why does the Ride Rock? - Goes from 0 to 55 in 4 seconds and upside-down. 108 foot drop
On a scale 1 to 10 - 10
Whats the ride for? - People who love thrill rides

Attraction Name-its a small world
Location- fanasty land
Fast Pass?- no but the line says 40 minutes but it goes right along
Does the Ride Rock?- yes and no
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- it is a great ride but the music gets annoying
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 9/10
What's the Ride for?- Everyone

Attraction Name-The Haunted Mansion
Location-Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom, big house on the hill - Can't miss it!
Fast Pass?-Yup!
Does the Ride Rock?-Certainly does
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?-It's a slow moving ride through the dark, to take a look at some awesome effects. The entire experience is worth a trip to WDW alone.
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...-I would give the ride an 8. Some of the scenes need to be refurbished, and the graveyard is out of sync
What's the Ride for?-The entire family!

I love the HM, one of my favorite rides!!!

atraction name: big thunder mountain railroad
i give this one a nine out of ten it is for almost everyone i had a friend who cried when he went on it the chicken

Space/Splash/Thunder Mountain(s)

Location: Splash and Thunder are right next to each other in Frontierland (how convienient?) and Space is the big white dome smac in the back corner of Tomorrowland (hard to miss).

FastPass: Duh! Lines get up to about 120 minutes. And the line to get a fastpass is longer than the ride, but it is so worth the wait.

Does the ride rock?: You bet it does!

Why does it rock: They are all just coolio different environments, and Thunder Mountain is an enjoyable baby coaster :). Splash is like it's a small world inside, it is so cute that you forget that you're on a ride with a height restriction :). and Space I've only been on once, because i chickened out all the 15 other times i got the chance, and I loved it! It's not really as dark and fast as people think, but i do remember that since the tracks above you are visible and the one you're on isn't, you always think your about to crash head-on into the other tracks, but then you drop ;).

1-10?: 10 for all of them!

Who's the ride for: everybody, but especially kids who are slowly entering the world of thrill rides! and NOT for senior citizens lol!

Stitch's Great Escape.
Where alien encounter ( moment of silence ) was.
Fastpass? Mmm hmm...
Does it rock or not: Erm. It's so bad I can't even look at the queue area.
Why does it rock/not rock: Because it killed a thrill ride in it's glory, had Stitch burping Chili dogs in your face, it was short, and not exciting.
Scale of 1-10: -235/10
What's the ride for?: Just another bad idea made by disney.


Rock n' Rollercoaster.
Near Tower of Terror at MGM Studios in Disneyworld
Fastpass, yup!
Does it Rock or not?: The name says it all. ROCK n' Rollercoaster. At least this ride lives up to it's name unlike Stitch's GREAT Escape...
Why Does it rock?: 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, Aerosmith music blasting into your ears, loops, and short stops.
Scale of 1-10: 10/10
What's the ride for?: Not for the easily queasy or the people who like soft, slow music.

Attraction Name- Dinausor
Location- Animal Kindom
Fast Pass?-Yes
Does the Ride Rock?- 200%
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- So cool
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...-9.9999999999
What's the Ride for?-Not litle children

Attraction Name- Hollywood Tower of Terror
Location- MGM Studios, Florida and California Adventure, California
Fast Pass?- uhm yes to the one in California. The line usually goes pretty fast though.
Does the Ride Rock?- Others would say yes. But I say AHHHH! I'm scared to death of the one in Florida even though I've ridden it three times. It's scarier than the one in Florida because it actually comes out of the elevator shaft and the one in California only goes up and down.
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- I think it's scary but the whole Twilight Zone theme is very cool.
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 7
What's the Ride for?- People who loved the Twilight Zone series.

Attraction Name- Tomorrowland SpeedWay
Location- Between tomorrowland anf fanastyland and toontown
Fast Pass?- no
Does the Ride Rock?- Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- bc u dont need a stupid license to drive! and bc i <3 it!
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 9
What's the Ride for?- to have fun and drive under 16 duh!






Attraction Name- Thunder Mountain
Location- Frontierland
Fast Pass?- Yes
Does the Ride Rock?- Yes
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- bc it is a rolla coaster ! lol
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 9
What's the Ride for?- to hae fun duh!

Attraction Name- Mission: SPACE
Location- Epcot in "Future World"
Fast Pass?- Yes for daytime, but not at night or during Extra Magic Hours anymore
Does the Ride Rock?- Yes!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?- You feel like you're being launched into space and your team has to sucessfully complete your mission during the trip! For those who are scared, there is a VERY VERY mild version of the ride, called the "Green team" or "Half-Throttle" that does not spin at all. You still get to see the same graphics and everything as the regular version of the ride, which is now called, "Orange team" or "Full Throttle." Both are fun, the ride was built by NASA, and it is a must-see!
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...- 8/10, higher if you have always wanted to fly into space!
What's the Ride for?- Teens and Adults

Attraction Name- Space Mountain
Location-In Tomorrowland near the Buzz Lightyear stage.
Fast Pass?- Yupper...
Does the Ride Rock?- The ride is perfectly synched with the music and it's dark. Whitch is good for me!
Why Does/Doesn't the Ride Rock?-It's a SUPER fun ride. I was laughing the whole way through!
On a Scale of 1 to 10- 10!!
What's the Ride for?- Teens!

Attraction Name-Stitch's Great Escape
Location-Tomrrowland
Fast Pass?-i think
Does the Ride Rock?-Personlly i love it
Why Does the Ride Rock?- Its a very famileir charecter and the stitch namatronic is great.
On a Scale of 1 to 10, 10 Being Best...-7.5 great ride experience but it could be better
What's the Ride for?-families with kids aounrd the age of 9 and higgher

Attraction: Splash Mountain

Fastpass? yes, get a fastpass for big thunder or spash and go on the other.

Location: Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom

Does this ride ROCK? yes, and if you don't think so, you are crazy

Why does this ride rock? because the music is good, you definately get the most out of the ride, and it is really fun

On a scale of 1-10: 9, boats are a little close together, but does keep the ride going.

Who's the ride for: not for little kids unless they are brave.
