CL_Florida Oranges has finally pulled her quest machine out of the cobwebs and has put together, well, quite a challenge.
The Walt Disney World Expert Quest will open to the public Saturday, August 26th at 10:30am EST. However, there will be a special preview to a group of "Walt Disney World afficianados" (you can request to test out the quest here) at 7:30pm EST tomorrow evening.
If you've never been to Walt Disney World, I don't recommend you take on this quest, because it will be hard. In fact, those who go quite frequently may get stumped on a few questions - I know I had to double check on a few questions, because I myself was not sure on a few of them.
There are 35 tasks total. The majority of them will be multiple choice and "say something" tasks. No mini-games or magic will be needed to participate in this quest.
Because of the mild difficulty of this quest, I suggest you brush up on resorts, water parks, theme parks, important Disney World dates, character greeting spots, restaurant locations, monorail stops/locations, parking lot and tram information, popular attractions and entertainment statistics. If you've got a handle on all of those aspects, you should do fine.
Prizes? Glad you asked. During Opening Weekend, there will be some truly fabulous prizes awarded to winners. You could get anything, from Teleportation Magic to a Complete Haunted Mansion suit, or even Churro pins to quest pins. Be careful though, you might just walk out empty handed!
Good luck!
