Chapter 1~
Highschool, Senior year.....*sigh* Its so wonderful! Everything is great, and fun. Its the last year of being a kid, and stepping into adult hood. Atleast thats what i think. But pardon me for not introducing myself!
My name is Riku Shadow, Very odd name i know. I have long Brown Hazel Nut hair, with red highlights, my eyes compliment my features. They are a Light Brown, and it goes well with everything. Im a very modest person, yet sometimes a little random and crazy. Im not what you call popular but i am a girl who knows what she is doing. The day is sunny, and breezy. You just know something is gonna happen...You can feel it in the air, the way the breeze caresse's you. "Life is so wonderful..." I murmmered to myself, sitting outside during the Lunch Period. I had about half-a-hour to spare, so i decided to sit outside, and catch up on homework. "Hmmm..." I have to write a paper about the greatest moment in my life. Its not due till another month but I always like to get a head start.
But i cant Concentrate, i glance up to the sky. Change is in the air, and it doesnt seem to be a good Change. Little did i know that everything was going to happen all at once. But remember the saying
Everything Happens For A Reason....
CHAPTER 2~
The Wind changed direction, i put my hair up to stop it from blowing all over. Something inside me just dropped, and it felt like all hope was gone. I didnt know why but it did. I stood up slowly, and walked away inside. I met a few of my friends, and we strut around the school. Talking about everything, they were my support and everything. I had forgotten about the feeling. Only when i happened to glance up from our Conversation, did i notice a boy staring at me intently, with his beautiful brown eyes. His Dark Brown hair caressed his face, making it look incrediable. I snapped ot of the trance and started talking with my friends again. I glanced up again and he was gone. "That was awakward....." I thought to myself. My friends started laughing hysterically so i joined in, to make it seem like i was following! Luckily they bought it.
The boy kept passing through my head, he wore normal clothes and what not. Not Goth, punk, Ganster, or anything. Just a normal guy, and he seemed increddibly nice, and understanding. But i couldnt understand why he kept haunting my thoughts. I glanced around and didnt see him, but i kept imagining him, his soft features seemed to settle me. Oddly.
I was awaken' from my deep thought by someone grabbing my arm and pulling me aside.
"Im afraid i have some terrible News.." The voice said shakily, and calmly.
CHAPTER 3~
My eyes widen at the news. It couldnt be happening...Could it? It was just completly impossible. I-I couldnt even Imagine this happening to me......Of course this was a prank..Of course it was....Right?
~A few Hours Later~
I stand outside the remains of my house. The black burnt crust of the house is slowly being pulled away by the wind. My hair flows softly, almost gliding in the air. My cheeks are stained with tears, and more tears kept coming as they rolled down my face, and fell from my chin. I was hoping this was all an illiousion...But it wasnt.
My house had burned down from a fire..it consumed the house in mere minutes. Nothing was left, My room was completly burnt down nothing had survived. Fire Fighters showed up to late to stop it. I walked into what would be the living room when you entered our house. Nothing was left, except the black ash. The books had been burnt, chairs, couches, everything and anything. I let out another sob, and tried to contain myself. I drove myself to my....old...house, and met the Fire Fighters there.
Well...It was just all happening to fast, and thats when i realized a locket my mother and father had given me.....it survived the fure. Then it hit me...
I had lost more then the house..
I had lost much more then the house...
