My account is still in moderation. I joined on 8-1. I have asked to be in trader Nick's and not heard anything. As far as posting goes the only place I am interested in is the traders market. I have many items that I would like to trade and can do nothing. I am not a scammer. I have never even been warned on VMK. I belong to other forums outside of this one and have never had a problem (My name there is the same here and if you ask I can tell you which sites).
I understand about you wanting to keep out scammers and I don't blame you. However what happens to ppl like me? When the main reason for joining is to trade? I don't have the time to make meaningfull posts all over this site. Is there a way to get recomendations from your members? If so everyone who knows me give a shout out. They know I am honest and fair. I run a trade room. I have many items to offer here (Stitch hat and box, red crate, black rocket, Kali couch, etc..) and I can do nothing.

My account is still in moderation.

Exactly. That very statement explains your problem completely.

You're new. You have 3 posts. In attempt to make the "Trader Mick's" forum safer for all players, the mods and admins have closed it off to all those members who a) don't frequently post, b) have a history of scamming others, c) are new to the forums, or d) the quality of their posts are not up to standards.

My suggestion? Post in the other public forums until you get adjusted to the site's rules. Make sure you submit posts that are worthwhile to read (don't post messages saying "I like pie" or something of that nature), and in good time you'll be granted access to the Trading Post. Until that time, familiarize yourself with the other forums of the site and make some new friends.

Well not all of us have the time to post for no reason other than to satisfy a "quota" of posts in order to gain access to the trade forum. I have been here three weeks already. Yes I am new to "this site" but not new to forum type sites. I already belong to two other forum sites. One I like and one I dont because I have seen too many ppl getting scammed and or lied to and I wont put up with that. I was hoping this site could be a place where I wouldn't have to deal with dishonest people. As far as friends go I have plenty. I have limited time to be on here and posting for no reason isn't an option for me. My interests and lifestyle are different from many others here. I post to trade and occasionally to help or give an opinion. If the moderators can't accept that my time is limited by all means let me know and I will move on to another site. If you want recomondations from current members, I can provide you with them. Heck any one of you are welcome to come by my trade room at any time and see how I do my trades. Look me up my VMK name is also ForeverWDW.

You have to take time and build up trust.
It is very similar to the Feedback system on ebay.

I dont want to risk trading a room code with a new account.

It is nothing personal to you.
Someone could create a new account tomorrow ( after being kicked off today for scamming), then that person could scam several people before anyone noticed.

I think the rule is good.

People feel more comfortable with other that have been around for a while.

I always put disclaimers in my trade post, before that rule was added.

I would put something like:"I will only trade with people that I know, or have been here for a while".

This rule was thought about a lot before it was added.
Many of us got ripped off.

Just hang out for a while!:D
