Enjoy :)

Rockit Mountain
Also part of this major "new" Space Mountain is a nighttime transformation of the attraction to Rock It Mountain, in which the calmer soundtrack of the attraction in daytime hours will be replaced at night by a driving rock soundtrack, and different special effects. A special version of Rock it Mountain premiered for Grad Nite 2006, with a track by rock group Hoobastank. The general public opening will not be until 2007, as a soundtrack artist is still not found, and most of the special effects required for the attraction are not in place yet. Rock it Mountain (Rockin' Space Mountain) is scheduled to premier during the "Year of a Million Dreams" Celebration.

Rock It Mountain will not use the **** Dale soundtrack that many Disney fans enjoyed, but the **** Dale Space Mountain theme makes one final appearance on Disneyland's 50th Anniversary 6-CD box set.

More recently commentors on Disney-fan sites and videos taken from Grad Nite 2006 has revealed that the full effects for ROCK IT Mountain are not in place and that Walt Disney Imagineering has not fully completed the project, the reason being that Space Mountain was rushed to completion in time for the 50th (the original plans to open late November were pushed to July 15th) and in the process Rock It show elements were put on hold. Plus, it has been hinted that Rockit Mountain may never be a reality, due to the fact that some special effects illuminate portions of the track, thus taking away Space Mountain's main distinction from other roller coasters.

So there will be two different versions of Space Mountain to ride? Sounds fine to me, so long as the original ride is kept during the daylight hours. :)

Well, Wikipedia is actually a very good source for information, as has been proven by third party internet research teams.

Anyways, I like the idea that there going to make the ride more intense in the night, when there are fewer little ones around, the only problem is though, the biggest lines form during the night, and there usually aren't any fastpasses left.

Wikipedia is not always reliable. It has been proven to be wrong many times by many different people.

However, to stay on topic, I went to the Grad Night 2006 version of Space Mountain, all they did was change the music and the lights, nothing big happened to it yet.
