She got mad and said, "was i talking to you? no.. so but out". I said, "i saw bad word so it concerns me too", and she said, "what ever". Can she report me and get me banned because she was mad at me for reporting her?

If she files a false report, it may. Hopefully not. Just contact VMK if that occurs. It is fine that bad words concern you. I do get concerned when other players say bad words. But like staff always say, "Ignore" then Report. But in that case, just click ignore. I have encountered some very mean people today in Pirates. What I did: Ignored them. Sometimes I ask them, Do you like being banned? Because it seems you really want to be! That usually quiets them up.;)

But then I wonder: How come it's so hard to say the right thing? Some people fail to understand that saying bad words makes them look very unintelligent.

if you do get banned, which is unlikely, you can use contact us and explain the situation and most likely the ban will get lifted, but you did the right thing.

Staff will review the situation, and see what really went down. If she reported false info, then that is a wrong report. If the charges she reported were serious, chances of her getting banned are likely. I would not worry about you getting banned. You just tried to help, and reporting a player to help the others around you and yourself is not a crime to get banned over. You were just trying to have her stop, though she would not listen. Do not worry, you should be fine :)

i don't think so. something like this happen to my friend, ill call him run
anyway run was playin pirates and called a boy mental, jk around. the boy didn't mind and new he was jk. when game ended, another boy said he was reporting run, and run followed me into a room, so he couldn't be reported. runs luck, i was in my friends room, and the owner was friends with the boy who wanted to report run. he didn't no run was in that room, came in, and the was run! he reported run, saying out loud i going to report u. then his friend came, and the kid told him to report run, then, run try to stand up for himself, boy kept saying i reporting. then i stood up for run, and run reported the kid, thenthe kid says he was going to report me!! so im then reported him for missuse of the report button :) since i did nothing but stand up for a friend. of course i didn't no wat had actually happened till after i made run come into my room and tell me it all, but i haven't gottn any warnings from vmk about him reporting me, so i think you safe

im pretty sure that all chat in vmk is logged and the staff can review it and see who is really telling the truth.

it probably is logged, cause ive been in a room with just me and the person i talking to, and have somehow been reported

Thanks for the edit, Wendot. I quoted the girl exactly so others could see why I reported, but I can see that it is probably not necessary.

When using the Contact Buton say this:

"Player used word against VMK values"

That should cover it.

Also, dont tell anyone that you are reporting them, that will just cause a lot of trouble for you.


Just report, and dont talk or argue with them.
Just stay away from getting in the middle of a bad situation, dont GIVE staff a reason to ban you.

She proberly got a warning if the room was busy there is most likely an administrator is watching.

Yeah, if you report alot about nothing.

No you would not get banned.
But it would of been better of you to ignore it all and press the ignore button.

How can you get banned for someone reporting for something that was right? I bet 99.9% you will not get banned.

staff see everything we say, if she were to do a false report, vmk staff would have evidence that only she broke vmk values, and she will likely get in more trouble for false reporting.
