um.. some of my friends in real life are better than the ones in vmk. but sometimes not.
i argue sometimes with my friends on vmk, but i dont ususally in real life.
in the game ppl see me different than in real life.
i wish that my friends in vmk knew me in real life.

it could go either way i mean when you don't know ppl in real life it's better but it could be vise-versa

Most VMK friends dont stab you in the back. Real life friends do. But you cant really truly laugh with your VMK friends, or go out and eat ice cream with, or talk about crush's, or stay up all night watching scary movies. There different, but im not really sure who to pick.

ny vmk frineds are better then real why if i got a secreat i dont have to worry about it going all over my school and they seem more nice to me :) my other friends are nice but i feel more speical with vmk friends i dont know why

I'm not quite sure at this moment. Some of my VMK friends proved to be better than some of my friends in real life. But then, I can't say they're 100% better. Some people have different personalities in VMK, so I can't really give a straight out answer.

And I have to admit, my VMK friends rock. They are all kind, and they always have my back. But when I think to the past, my real life friends always got into fights with me, or something happened to break us apart. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with my real life friends, but I would rather be on the computer, hanging with my vmk friends.:D

I have like two or five friends on VMK that are nice, the rest, nah. But in real life, the whole school knows me! LOL

Most of my old friends were nice to me, but than i found out it was because i had nice stuff :( So I really don't have any REAL friends. *Sigh* oh well

I dont know. I cant really choose. Both are really great, but real friends sometimes pretend to like you when they really dont. But virtual friends can say they dont like you and nothing really happens. So I dont know...

I have too say VMK friends. They are nice too me and support me and listen too me. they don't go off changing the subject and I know it's harder too get embarrassed around them because I know they will just help. I also have a way bigger vareity in friends on VMK like my friend AMPMLife is more genorous than any off my real life friends and cares more about me than they do. My friend Star and I have a great friendship and we have something in common Acting and Singing and dancing pretty much theatre he also like too Volunteer too like me. None off my friends and I have that much in common. I am trying too get rid off my so called Best friend in real life.. She just uses me too get her friends so then I would have no friends that go too my school because she would turn them all against me :( But I am going too middle school so that may change..

Id have to say real life friends. I mean i see them ( like in real life ) Alot more LOL and im closer to them than my virtual ones. I mean i love all my virtual friends but the Real ones are the ones that i get in trouble with XD

tough question...i love them both. my friends in VMK are wicked funny and random and we have fun times together virtually. and i do like the exact same things with my real friends. on Vmk though, there isn't really any drama. which is a big plus but i've seen my friends. gosh this is tough i just can't choise!

MY FRIENDS IN REAL LIFE ARE WAY BETTER THAN MY "FRIENDS" IN VMK. I never hang out with anyone in vmk bc I never really go on anymore.

Well, I use to have a best friend in vmk, I'd give her all my stuff, (well the good stuff) I gave her a gold snowman.. 10 firewalls.. but now she quit sort of, and I IMed her asking if I could borrow a few firewalls for my game and she was saying that I didn't give her any! >.<
I was so mad, I've seen her side that I haven't seen before, She wouldn't even let me borrow the firewalls, after all she now has 20 o___O
She claims I never gave her the snowman either, and I even have proof I gave it to her, 2 pictures. So, she never comes on vmk anymore, and about 3 months ago she came on and was like has pirate quest got anymore rare? and I was so mad, I was thinking who cares, your not on anyway >_<
I just wish I had my stuff back..

Oh, and I'd DIFFINATELY say Real Life friends..

Well, I can be myself around my real friends. But in vmk I don't even know if the people are real.

My real life friends are always nice to me, offer to help me when ever I have a problem, fight over who gets to hang out with me, and invite me to do stuff with them. Then again, all my friends are ballerinas or ballet-maters. And none of them play vmk excpet one who does not play very often.

Definitely real life friends. Yes, there are some people that can easily stab you in the back, but at least I can actually go places with them - see them day to day, go hang out with them, anything we want to do. But with VMK friends, don't get me wrong, my true friends are amazing! I can't imagine myself without them. But, it's a setback that I can't actually visit them, or do anything much for that matter. Only option is through MSN/VMK chat.

I <3 Both, but I might have to say vmk friends. They dont know how you really look, or how you talk so they cant pick on you. Of course, close friends can tease ya (*cough* chocolate *cough* LOL). I know all my buds will be there for meh (hopefully) 0:-)

This is a really hard choice...

I love my VMK friends and they probably will help me get things I want in VMK. I can tell them who I like without worring he'll find out. My best friends on VMK I talk to on IM or PMs. But my real friends are just as good. I do a lot more with my actual friends we: hang out, have sleepovers, pass on a journal, do our band's "gigs" together, and so much more.

So I'll have to chose real friends.

I asked these girls why they have boyfriends in the sixth grade. Behold their response:

I'm just.. .......... like that. Then I said, " I have more important things to think about then boys, like my FUTURE!

Well my friends in VMK can never really hang out with me... which is something that I can do with my real life friends. I love all my vmk friends though... they allow me to just be myself no matter crazy I am! I don't think there has ever been a fight between any of us (ok cute is an exception lol and that whole trip thing..) but my VMK friends have always been by myside for everything! I LOVE you guys! When I have problems in real life, my vmk friends can help me in ways my real life friends. Now remember this

But yeah.. I mean I do talk to my VMK friends in real life and we definently have had some crazy conversations but they all remind me of myself! My friends in real always kinda seem like they have to be "cool" or whatever to fit in at my school. So many people start drama and rumors in my group. And i dont like it. But in real life i have a real BEST FRIEND who goes on here and her name is jenny (rock4evas13) and she understands me. I can pretty much come to her whenever i need and she is there for me, unlike some of my friends in real who i cant trust with keeping secrets and what not. But on VMK i honestly dont know. Lately.. people think something is wrong with me like im sad. But i'm actually confused. As far as VMK right now my friends seem to care about me but dont act like it. And my closest friends on VMK stopped talking to me alot. If my best friend Otpie was on more.. i would have been hyper all the time and stuff. But she left forever. And it just seems as if id even need to be on VMK anymore. Because they always need two people online to "not be bored". I have been thinking about leaving VMK. But im not sure yet. Right now idk which is better VMk friends or real life friends.

vmk is great, and vmk friends are great to have, but how can virtual ppl that you will never meet( unless against vmk vlaues) mean more than real life ppl?
i no that most of you here said vmk friends ( and that could possibly be bc we are on vmk forums lol) and your reasons were bc you could not find real life friends to be any fun or they were mean..
and that is the saddest part.it is sad that ppl give up so easily on ppl these days.. i think ppl need to change and we all should be the first to make it happen. we should not just hide behind our computers to escape from real life so that even the ppl we consider as true friends are virtual! seriously! friends are a big part of life! i mean, when i grow up, i want to be able to have real memories with real ppl, not virtual ppl! lol bc

Hmm... I really don't know lol in real life I'm not...I don't know what you would call friend rich. I have maybe 2 BEST friends and some other friends that probably don't know anything about me. On vmk yes I have friends but I don't know if they are better I mean one friend on vmk knows probably more about me (not were I live and so on) then like 10 of my friends in real that don't know much about me but still I really don't know.

No offence whatsoever Cake, but I think that sounds really pathetic and you should re-think that. If your friends in real life have a problem with you, then they're not really your friend. Just my opinion. I cant believe that people are saying that they like their internet friends (who could be totally lying about EVERYTHING) are better than actual real live friends. Well, I'm not saying they have a problem with me. Also, I'm not saying my VMK friends are more important to me than my real life friends. Let's just put it this way, I haven't seen my real life friends for like, 2 months. Yeah we talk on the phone, or message each other, we can't hang out with each other. Why? They live in an other town. We're in the same class.. but we can't hang out after school since they have to go home.
The reason why I haven't seen them is, because school didn't start yet. It will on September 4. In the mean time, my VMK friends have been there for me, hung out with me and we had a great time.
It might change when school starts, we don't know yet. People who prefer online friends are not always shy, it's that my friends don't like VMK. So, I can't talk to my friends about it. It is not pathetic meeting someone really awesome on VMK 0_o I have been through some rough times and found out my real life friends at school are pretty much jerks who use me too get popular (I am better looking than them if you know what I mean..) But some off my real life friends are cool.. I may after a few weeks off middle school pick real life friends.. but that is just me :)

My closest bestest friends have moved back from Callie so we have made up for the three years we have not seen eachother. So I have too change my answer too Both

My friends in real. I can do SO much more with them. I also really know them and can trust them. I am not held back like on VMK where I can only do and say so much >_>

I like my friends in rl better, but vmk friends are a very close second.

VMK Friends are my favorite at the moment. Since I am a shy girl in real life (haha suprise surprise!) I have a difficult time making new friends and striking up conversations. It's easier (for me) when you're behind a computer screen :)

I have two BEST BEST BEST friends in Real life and 1 of them plays VMK, I think they are my true friends, i am VMk friends with people just not True True Friends

I'm a little popular in life. My friends really appreciate who I am.
But on VMK..
My freinds are very loyal and alot like me. They make me laugh, especially QMark.
They are very nice and sometimes help fix problems!
