HELP! HELP! HELP!

I am in need of photos of the Magic Pins for the wiki. Please use the example for the Snowman Magic Pin shown here (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Magic_Pins). Please no multiple-star magic pins! I also need photos of the magic in action. (Again, see the link for examples.)

Also, if you see any pins on this page (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Other_Pins) that you could take the full-size photo for me that would be wonderful. (The example of good photos are the dog and cat quest pins.)

When taking the screen shot and cropping, please use your inventory button and keep that nice yellow border around it.

jeremyv has a great page. Especially for trading. However, I am looking specifically for the photos to all be the same (hence the nice yellow borders like in the ones I mentioned.)

Spin, the Yellow borders have been left out to save loading time and I feel aren't very necessary anyways, especially should VMK decide to change the inventory interface. Now, a difference of 1-3k per picture doesn't seem like much, but when you have over 600 on a single page, it ends up shaving close to about 1Mb off loading time ;)

Oh yes, I fully understand and you have done a great job! I am impressed with the amount of work that you have put into it (trust me, I know! lol)

In the wiki, however, load time is a bit faster only because there is fewer photos on the page :D

Keep up the great work on your userpage, though, as I use it as a reference.

If the pins are in your inventory when you click on them, the big picture shows how many stars it is. However, if you are wearing it while you click on it, the big picture does not show the stars. Sort of odd, I guess... :Tongue:

Yeah it is, what I meant though was that when the pin is in the section of your inventory that you are not wearing and you click on it, it shows the stars. However, if you have the pin in the bottom row of the eight pins that you are wearing and you click on it, the stars do not show.

I believe these are the only ones that married_at19 did not have. If I can help further please feel free to ask. I wish I knew how to put text in between the pics but alas I do not. These are, a better pic of Animal Kingdon, the Star of Mickey and VMK Fantasyland Pins. As for the large pic at the bottom I beleive that the Fantasyland Retro and the Fantasyland 2/9 that you can buy for 250 credits are the same pin and that is why I added this photo.

Do you want the ride pieces as seperate pictures (from inventory) or as sets (from shop)?

The individual pieces yes. The Group pieces (starter set, loop pack, etc.) can only be photographed from the shop menu because once you purchase it you get all the parts, not the nifty "here is what is in this set" photo. (Not as pretty but that is the only way to do it!)

As for the Blue Space suit that is from the quest to get into the Inner Space Shop and it is not a clothing item that you can hold in your inventory. Now you could take a picture of the character wearing that suit as they float in space. Is that what you want?

The pieces only show up when you use the magic pin, I never tried the magic unless I wanted to actually go into inner space but I guess it would work anywhere.

It works anywhere just like the Diver's Suit Magic.

Those of us that work on the Wiki are aware of Jeremyv's page and it is teriffic. By asking other members to help out with photos and answers to certain quest questions it helps to get more people involved in the Wiki.

It is not because we are lazy it is just to get "you" involved. The Wiki is "the" place to learn everything VMK, if you don't use it you need to take a look. Many people work very hard to make this resource for you and the other VMK'ers.

Yes you are so correct I forgot that jeremy did his pics that way.

Oh my yes, jeremyv's userpage of pics is a great resource, expecially if you need a quick pic for your trade thread.

As was mentioned, however, his photos are cropped for ease of loading and we in the wiki are looking for consistancy and uniformity with all the photos.

Earlier in this thread someone mentioned the same thing and whereas it is a good idea and jeremyv has done a wonderful job, his pics are cropped to their smallest in order to load faster.

We want the full-size photos, with the nice yellow border, etc. since we have more room in the wiki.

If you look at the wiki and jeremyv's UP you will see what I am talking about :)

The ride rooms have changed over the course of the day. They started out a lot more complicated, with more of the doors and switches, and by the end of the day (or by now, at least), they'd been simplified so that players could actually figure out how to ride the rides without clogging up the rooms.

This is pretty much the same thing that happened with the Halloween mazes earlier this week. VMK repeatedly overestimates the abilities of its players to navigate simple event rooms, and chaos ensues.

I doubt it'd be the Insider Tour pin because that's the name of it and people would go "You went on a tour?" when in fact they just bought some pins.

I have that, but I'm having trouble connecting to VMK now. It just hangs there.
