I Believe both of these rumors because I got banned and now It always says I need more expierience, and because I know a couple of people that reported rude CLs and they got banned them shelves.

This is totally true; there is no hint of rumor in this quote. If you can't clear that ban and it's really bad, you can't become a leader ever again.

This is 100% rumor right here. Leaders CAN BE BANNED BY ANYONE, just as long as it's something bad they've really done. Staff "do" the ban, while the others "inform them" to do so. And, leaders cannot ban anyone else, they can report them just like anyone can.

To be honest with you, I don't have any bans so I have no idea what messages you guys get when you are banned, so I can't help you there :(.

its absoluteley true i was band for 30 days in december and still cannot be cl

Use contact us and ask them why you had gotten banned.
Usually they would say why you got banned when you dc or try to log back on.

I only got banned for 12 hours. But before the 12 hours I could log back on again. I don't know why I could, I was just like, "I thought I was banned." @_@

you can get ban b4 being a cl but you have to wait 3 months after you got ban to apply but if you get ban while being a cl

What if you got "IP" Banned? My sister was doing something really bad on VMK, but I didn't. And I got banned anyway. Does IP Ban count?

I have a perfectly clean record. I've never been banned or even gotten a warning. Just curious though, if for some reason someone was banned for like a day or so, could they create a new account and at some point become a leader? Somebody asked me that the other day and I didn't know what to tell them. Does anyone know the answer?

what don't some of you understand about "if you were ever banned you can't be a CL"? It's a fact. It's a rule.

one hour or 10 years, doesn't matter. A ban in VMK is a ban.

Sure, you can apply, but if you were banned and they didn't decide your ban was injust (only done by using contact us and asking them to review your ban), you will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

ok yes i understand but before i was in a staff's room and someone asked "if your band can you still be a leader?" and the staff said "if some bands are not that bad you may still be able to be a community leader." (something along those lines) but i guess im not going to be a leader afterall :confused:

I believe it's ok to get warnings. If you were banned, it really depends on the ban Maybe if it's two hours, then you can still apply.

I was warned for giving personal info and i never did anything I just remember saying to somebody its not ok to talk about the fan site and will result in ban.
I cant believe they warned me for telling somebody a rule that they were breaking.

thx alot, and yeah i think it depends on how bad the ban was, like if you harrased a player, u probanly woundn't be able to, but if you like told someone to be quiet (in the other way) and got ban, then you probably would be able to

Heh like I didn't already try that. The Contact Us is the black hole of online searvice. I never got a response. Plus while your banned it doesn't let you us Contact Us. Tried explaining it after the ban ended but still no response

lol (kind of off topic) i use the same name for a lot of stuff, but this time for my member name i altered it by one letter. so i kept writing stuff to vmk, but i kept writing the on i usually used, not the altered on! oops!! yeah so i never got responses
