I was just wondering (I am new at this just checked my email and signed into the wiki today) if there can be too many images in one page. I recently edited the Making Your Own Quests article with a more detailed guide for those who can't seem to figure it out, and there are ten images on the page, and they are all large. Is that allowed? Thanks!!

Here is the article: http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Making_your_own_quests

I think you did a great job and I don't see anything wrong with it ;) If there was a limit on the images allowed, I'd think they would have size/page limitations warning you of such. Also, it might be good to include a part about describing your quest, for example if mini-games/magic are required to complete any of the tasks. :)

I will edit it later to include that, I'm being extremely lazy right now. ;)

OK Thanks.. I guess they would have told me but I don't want to lose my priveleges already :D

I think the thing to consider is load time for a page with large or multiple images. I am encountering something similar as I work on the furniture inventory. I am going to experiment with breaking that into smaller sections.

What about adding thumbnails onto the page that people can "click to enlarge"?

Yes, that's very easy to do. Just type [[Image:Filename.filetype|thumb|right| Click to enlarge]] . :)

But I had ten images, so I can see both of the problems. I have a fast computer I guess, I didn't have to wait at all. For me at least I don't have to wait until it gets to maybe 20-30 images.

But if they're all thumbnails, that's very much of a hassle for the viewer to have to click them every time and then hit back. I prefer having the image there, but I'm just lazy =D

Have fun in HKDL Fieldo!! =D

They don't all have to be thumbnails... Although, it'd probably look more professional if they were.

I doubt they'll need to look at every single one of them... Also, pictures that large usually have pretty big thumbnails, too. It'd be a good alternative to resizing them.

And I'm not going there for maybe another couple of months. :P

Yea I agree. I think its fine I dont have a problem looking it at. I mean if you had to scroll down forever because the pics were big than you should change it but I think its fine the way it is
