Chapter 1
One of the main characters in this story is Jessica. She usually likes to be called Jessy which of course all of her friends call her. Anyway Jessy was sad that her summer was over. That whole time she had been swimming and hanging with her friends at the mall..now that's over. " Mom why can't they just plant a chip in our brain so we don't have to go to school?" asked Jessica. Jessy has no brothers or sisters and was always wondering why we were meant to be here on earth after her father passed away from a heart-attack. " Because then we'd be as lazy as a couch potatoe and you may think i'm crazy but you would be more bored with life without your friends" said Anny her mother. Well it was 10:30 and Jessica knew she had better get to bed. She red a book for about twenty minutes and was so tired that she fell asleep the first few minutes.
Chapter 2
Jessy woke up and ate some pancakes for breakfast. As soon she was about to put her plate in the sink her mother crept up and asked if she'd like to assist her for getting school supplies. Jessy got so scared she dropped the plate and it shattered to pieces. " Mom i'm so sorry i'll clean it up!" Surprisingly Anny gave in and said " No need to worry, we're all good." The next day after they shopped, Anny told Jessy that their web was today at 12:00. " But mother what exactly is W.E.B? I mean everytime I talk to my friends on the phone, they always ask if I'd be there." Jessy's mother explained that W.E.B meant Welcome Every Body. a meeting at the middle school where the eighth graders and high schoolers show the incoming seventh graders around and make them feel welcome. " well.. I sure can't wait for that!" Jessy wasn't being sarcastic though it sounded like it. Well you better get to bed if you don't want to sleep through the whole thing.
