I have a question those blue flags in the Shallow Ends did they disappear after the contest was over?

The flags haven't disappeared I believe. My friend still has his.

I was just in my room and it is still in my room. So, so far we've been able to keep it, but not do anything with it.

Yes, I have tried it. I put it in another room for a couple of seconds to see if you could. Also you can not sell or trade it. Mine is probably just going to stay in my inventory forever though. There is no point to put an item that was meant only to show a ride was judged in another room.

Making them the ULTIMATE RARE ITEM IN VMK!

Yes they are neat, but I think VMK should have taken them away because now the owners of these flags (if they are not responcible) can brag to every one that they have an item like that, and only a few select people in VMK even got a chance to get the flag. Non-tradable is a step in the right direction but, in my opinion I think they should have given everybody on a team that was judged one of those flags along with the green ski chair (and the possible crate and pin)

No, they haven't disappeared. I was a team leader, and mine is still sitting in the Shallow End collecting virtual dust.
You can move, rotate, and pick up the flag. If you pick it up, it will appear in your inventory and you can move it into another room. From there, you can place it anywhere you want.
You can not sell or trade the flag. If you try during trade, a message reads "This item cannot be traded".

I still don't understand why people are getting so upset over it. It's a flag, and it has absolutely no value whatsoever. It's not rare, because you can't trade it. How can something be rare if you can't put a price on it?

In all actuality, I think the people complaining over it are being more greedy than a bragging person owning it...

There is no way for the team captain to get rid of the flag. It does not disappear, can't be sold or traded, either. You are stuck with it.

You can always just stick it in a room somewhere and forget about it, if it's bothering you that much.
