This is a story about Jasmine Wood's life. She has ups and downs and more downs then ups. Alot of sad and bad things happen in her life. She writes it all in her Diary though. In every chapter we will sneak into her diary to see her thoughts of things.

Chapter 1
Sleepover
Jasmine got out of bed. She could not wait for 1:00 today. Her best friend Ashley was coming to sleep over. They were going to go to the mall and then go to get movies and come back to Jasmine's house. She looked at the clock. It was 12:00! She overslept! She put on something nice and started to clean her room. She put down sleeping bags , pillows , and blankets. She made room for shopping bags and Ashley's stuff. She ran down stairs and made fruit and dip trays , got popcorn out , and also made sure she had what she needed for ice cream sundaes. All of a sudden the doorbell rang. * dingdong*
Jasmine ran to answer it. To her surpise it was Ashley's mother. " Where is Ashley? " Jasmine asked nervosely. " That is what I came to talk to you about dear. " Jasmine shook in fear. Her teeth chattered as she said " Come have a seat " Ashley's mom came in and Jasmine shut the door as she walked to sit with her. " What is wrong with her Mrs. Smith? " Jasmine asked in a low voice. " Well.. " Mrs.Smith stummbled. " Ok. I know this is sad but... Ashley is really sick and is in the hospital. She can not have any vititors until the doctors know what she has. " Oh.. Can you please give her my love and kindness? " Jasmine said fighting back her tears. " Yes of course I will Jas."
" Thank you " Jasmine said trying real hard to save back her tears until she left. " Well thanks for coming see you later " Jasmine said as she shut the door. She ran up stairs crying in her room. She went to her desk and went to her diary. She opened it and started to write:
Dear Diary,
I cant believe that Ashley is sick. We planned this sleepover for months now! Now I have to clean all this up myself. If only one good thing could happen in my life! I am to sad to write now.

She slammed the book shut and threw herself on her bed crying. Her mom came in and she heard everything. " I am so sorry dear.."
" It is not your fault mom! " Jasmine said between tears and breaths.
" Tell you what Jasmine. We can go to the mall today still alright? "
" Wont be the same! But I will still go. Thanks Mom "
" My pleassure " Her mom said as she left the room.
Chapter 2
The Sad Sad Chapter
" Jasmine! Time to wake up sweetheart. Please come in the kitchen. Me and your dad have something to tell you. " Her mom said the last sentence real quiet. Jasmine got up and wrote in her diary real quick:
Dear Diary,
Wish me luck. Who knows what they are going to tell me. I hate when they have to tell me things. They are all bad nothing is good in my LIFE!!
~Confused and Sad Jasmine
She went down stairs into the kitchen and sat down. Her parents looked and each other and her mom said
" Jasmine. We got a call from Ashley's Mom..."
Her dad picked up
" and she said that Ashley.. "
and her mom came back.
" Well.. She has cancer for a long time without knowing it. This was the first time it acted up that bad and.. "
Her mom and dad sighed and her dad finished:
" Ashley died of brain cancer. She had a tumer in her brain "
Jasmine opened her mouth but words did not come out. Her throat was dryer then a week old piece of bread. Jasmine got up ran to her room and opened her diary again.
Dear Diary,
I cant believe it! My best friend died! She is not here... not on earth.. I cant stand to think about it. Aslheys GONE.

Chapter 3
WHAT?!!
Jasmine put her diary in her drawer. She wanted to take a nap. She layed down and fell asleep.
" Ashley?? " Jasmine said
" Ashley?? " she said again
Ashley appered with smoke around her
" I am gone Jasmine you have no more friends... " aslhey said
" Ashley!! " Jasmine said running toward her. The farther she ran the farther Ashley got. suddenly Jasmine woke up.
AH!! she had a nightmare. She went down stairs in the living room with her parents.
" Jasmine guess what? "
Her mom said.
" What? " Jasmine asked.
" Your dad and I have desided since you have no friends we will send you to a boarding school. You have to share a room with someone. "
" Wow! thanks you guys! " Jasmine said that but she did not think that.
" Jasmine. moving day is tomorrow. You should go get your stuff ready.
" Ok mom! " Jasmine went running up the steps. She got her diary and wrote:
Dear Diary,
As if life cant get any worse! Now i am going to a boarding school where i have to share my room! UH!! I have to go pack now put you are coming with me dont worry. You are the only friend I have.

She shut her diary and placed it in a big suitcase her parents got her. She packed her blankets , pillows , pictures , clothes , and her diary and stut it. She looked around her room. It was just about empty now. Jasmine did not feel like eating dinner so she went to bed early.
Chapter 4
Boaring School
Bye Dad. Jasmine said as she put her suit case into her mom's car. She kissed him and waved bye. She got into the car and within a half an hour they got there. She got out of the car and kissed her mom good bye. She went to the princapals office. Her name was Mrs.Caro. " Hello I am Jasmine Woods I am looking for my key to my room and my map and classes. " Sure thing dear here you are. "
" Thanks " Jasmine said as she walked out of the office. She followed the map to her room. There was a girl already in there. " Hello I am Jasmine who are you? " Jasmine asked.
" I am Miley. Nice to meet you! "
" I really dont want to be here. My friend died and my parents sent me here to make friends. "
" oh i am so sorry! " Miley said.
" It is ok. want to stick together? " Jasmine asked.
" Sure it is my first year here too. "
Jasmine got unpacked and Miley and her went to the first class
Chapter 5
New Life
Dear Diary,
Life has begin alittle bit different now that I am at this boaring school. I met a new friend Miley. I dont know if she likes me as much as I like her as a friend. She is really nice.

Jasmine shut off her desk lamp and put her diary in her bag. She got out her social stuides binder and started doing her home work.
Name: Jasmine Woods
In social studies I like too....
She shut her binder at the sound of Miley coming in the room. She had a big broad smile on her face.
" Guess what? " Miley asked inhusiasticly.
" What? " I asked
" On Friday there is a big welcoming dance! " Miley yelled
" Woo! Are you going with anyone? " I asked.
" Well that is what I wanted to talk to you about..." Miley said.
" Well I have a great guy friend who has a brother that can take us too the prom! His name is Jack and his brother is Jesse. They are coming up to pick us up for dinner in 5 hours. "
" What do we have to waist? lets go buy some dresses! " Jasmine said trying to make herself interested in this.
" Ok lets go " Miley said as she grabbed her purse. I got my purse and i shut the door.
Chapter 6
Shopping
" How about this dress? " Miley asked Jasmine. " Nah.. to much."
" Jasmine! We have begin here for 2 hours! Pick something and try it on! "
" Ok! Ok! " Jasmine said looking at dresses.
" Wait... I like this one! " Jasmine said picking up a big red dress.
" yes... Yes! try it on! " Miley said.
Jasmine went in the dressing room and tryed it on. She came out.
" I really like it i am going to get it. " Jasmine said.
" I dont even get to see it on you? " Miley asked
" Not until tonight! " Jasmine said giving the cashier her money.
They got back to the school and got ready. First came out Miley. In a pink beautiful long stapless gown. " Your turn! " Miley yelled to Jasmine.
