Hello all!
:wave2:

I know this was released from the press in May, but i am here to give you a few helpful tips.

What is POTC Online?:pirate:
Pirates of the Caribbean is a massive online multi-player game, where you can live the life of a pirate in your own computer! Create your player from thousands of tools, assemble your crew, and create your own pirate ship!!

Is it free?:pirate:
It will not be free, it will be like toontown where you must pay monthly subscriptions.

How can i become a beta tester?:pirate:
Beta testing will not start until the end of summer, but to sign up to be one you must register at http://disney.go.com/pirates/online/index.html .

Where can i go to find out more?:pirate:
To find out more about POTC online, go to http://disney.go.com/pirates/online/index.html .

I signed up for beta testing, and a few weeks ago I got an email saying I'd get the rest of the registration stuff soon. Has anyone gotten anything further than that? Now when you apply for beta you get rejections, according to some other players I've talked to. Do you have to actually register on the site? Because I keep trying, but it won't let me. I get This Page Cannot Be Displayed. So many questions...

I don't think you can apply for beta testing anymore... and even if you still "can", they'll just send a rejection email. You had to email their designated address with simply your first and last name, with a certain subject (I forget what it was).

um, i believe its a MMORPG, not a RPG game.

does it stand for Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game?

Once again: I don't think you'll have to pay for beta. When the game is finally officially released, you'll have to pay. But if it's like Toontown, beta testers will get a discount.

but i MUST become a beta tester, i cannot waste my life sitting here writhing in agony as i wait for the slow days of life to pass by..

i did contact them under the question category, asking to become one. if this is not right, give me intructions ASAP. i probably am the biggest fan, sitting at home this summer watching the black pearl every week.

Skip - I am at the same point as you with the registration process. I haven't gotten another email yet, but hopefully soon.

I also heard that they are no longer accepting any BETA Testers. Someone said they sent an email to become one, but they got a reply back saying that they have been rejected.

Another thing. I don't thing you will have to pay to play during BETA, and hopefully it will have some kind of discount or benefit for the BETA Testers when the game is officially launched.

I still wonder if you can trade and talk to others. (I bet you can.) I also hope beta testers get to play for free ;). I do hope they at least get to play for free in beta. Was Toontown like that in beta? Sadly, I be in the poorhouse, mateys, lol.

Well, there was an E-mail address that you had to send to, to apply to become a BETA Tester. I guess it is full, because they aren't accepting anymore.

I just don't know how registering to the game site will give you a chance to become a BETA Tester. Is there more than one way?
