vmk informed me that I had to change my name I am Guest 531457 I am so heart broken over this -- probably someone out there used my name for something else they should not have

I am going to try for snugs, but I do not think that will go either, I had no ideas for a new name right away --- wish me luck

could you please look into this --what happened?? I have had this name since the beginning -- Thanks in advance :)

Try doing a google search and see all the topics/websites on the word. If bunches of the sites relate to each other, than look at those websites' main topic.

I think theincredible may be copy righted? I do not know.

:wave2: :wave2: This happened to me too snuggie. I was quite upset because i had the same name from the beginning. I like my new name now and still have the same friends, that's what was important to me. I still don't know why i had to change my name, I never got a reply from VMK staff. It will all turn out ok, I am sure you will find another name that fits you right. :)

You're not alone :( When I finally got a name, I went by "White Tiger" (without the quotes). I made lots of friends and things. I think it was even still during Beta when I saw that I had to change my name. It was absolutely devastating.

When I became a Guest again, nobody knew who I was. During my guest days, I met up with Nedakh for the first time and I found that I liked him a lot. The next day or so, Ned was off my list, because there's no way that he could have remembered who I was.

After a few days, I ended up with the name "PeepsBunny". And I was still an unknown, but worse this time. It was just like starting VMK all over. I have seen very few of the friends I made in the days of White Tiger. Several times, an old friend has come up to me saying, "You're on my friends list" and so then I have to explain that I had to change my name. My friend still calls me Tiger, and that makes me super happy for some reason. I guess it's because I like being able to retain my former identity. I once said hi to a friend I hadn't seen since I was White Tiger and he said "I don't really know you, sorry" I explained that I used to be White Tiger and he replied "Oh, I do know you then" It was kind of comical. I did end up meeting up with Ned again and now we've become really good friends. :) He actually took someone off his friends list to put me on it! Wow! I don't think anyone else has done that for me!

I'm still sad about the loss of my name, but it has been so long since I was White Tiger, it doesn't really matter too much, because I have made so many more friends since then, and I have found most of my friends from the olden days. It still depresses me though...It was MY name. MY title. MY identity. It was....ME. There isn't really a way to describe how I feel about losing it...

I'm really sorry that you lost your name, snuggie. At least people on your friends list will know that you had your name changed -- I didn't have that luxury.

Well, my story isn't ALL sad. I didn't mention my second name change. When I logged in so I could go play fireworks, it gave me those silly pop-up messages telling me about the game and to click on a land to begin, blah blah blah. I didn't pay much attention to it and click on my flashing message thing. I had, I think, seven messages. The first I saw... said congratulations. I thought my friend was referring to getting so many people on my ride earlier, so I said thanks. I clicked next and it said congratulations also! I figured something was up, so a thought came to mind. Maybe I got accepted as a CL. I didn't think it was possible, but I clicked on guest rooms and my rooms. I clicked on one of them and it said owner: CL_PeepsBunny! I was so excited that I screamed. It wasn't very loud because I had lost my voice a few days earlier, so all that came out was a hoarse noise. My family was leaving the house when I found out. I was going to run into the garage and tell them not to leave so I could tell them the news, but they were closing the garage door. So I went back, and for quite a while I was answering congratulations messages. That was my happiest day in VMK. Yep... :cat1:

I have a feeling it has something to do with the base of your name, "snug," regardless of the additional prefixes or suffixes. I am guessing Yavn doesn't want anyone's name be related to the word "snuggle." Or at least I think so, lol.

I would recommend adding letters before/after. Something like snugster -- along those lines.
