A friend of mine on VMK, just got back from WDW this morning. He has informed me that there is in fact a new pirate hat out, for purchasing a real pirate hat in the gift shop at the end of POTC.

I'm not 100% sure this is true yet, but he also said that the new Adventureland quest started up yesterday as well.

If someone can confirm that there is a new hat available, that would be great. I checked the VMK card listing, and nothing yet. But then again, it just happened yesterday. This very well could be the pirate hat w/o the parrot, but then again, it could have the parrot. We just need confirmation.

I checked VMK's cardlist and there wasn't anything about anew quest or hat (the HSM quest was there, 50th Quest and Thrill Seekers, but nothing newer than that).

a new quest already? that seems a bit early..i think new quest is going to come out in September, when a lot of the other quest is going to be retired..but anyways, i new quest would be kewl! :D

The card list isn't the most current source. The Animator's Desks didn't show up right away either.

yeah the adventureland quest was not being handed out because i think some questions involed going on POTC but if you were to finish both fantaslyland and frontierland's quests you get the "prize pack" you get all of the adventureland card but the pin(maybe it is just me not sure) but it is back now and i think a new hat will be coming out just like you said it maybe the bandana thing not sure tho

1-Anything new from the new Adventureland quest?

2.My great trustworthy friend just got to the park and is from another country..im going to meet up with him tonight and see if it is the pirate hat with the bird on it.

Anyone got info yet about what card this is? Is it Series 2 card 28 (or 29 or 30)? Is it Series 2 but "Gift with Purchase" (like the "of 6" for Series 1)? Just want to keep my list up to date. If anyone's got a pic of the card, that would be great too!

There was a pirate hat that looked like Jack Sparrows when I went last August but of course no VMK codes.

Cool maybe it will be a kind of sparrow hat?

PotC was open only for Extra Magical Hours guests, but they said they were "renovating" something for it... hmm...

Aww! Hopefully its not the pirate hat that we got in the quest because if it is it will lose more value. Anyways my family usually buys separate so i probably will be able to get 2 or 3 codes since we dont do it in a line we do it at random times like for example if we go to POTC then we get off we will buy one then for some reason if we want to come back we will get more. But i dont care as long as i get at least 1 ill be happy! =)

But when i went to WDW on Splash Mountain the lady was nice.. she asked me how many wanted posters i wanted and i said 2 please and she said "for saying please i will give you 6" So it really is depending on the person at the desk! =)

I was just at WDW yesterday and today with my family. It is true that the adventureland quest is back (the same prizes) but there is no reward for buying a pirate hat! We asked 4 cast members AND a manager. We also asked 2 cast members at VMK central and no hat card. Finally, there have been no listings on a certain auction site. Given people's greed, I would imagine it would be there by now. Perhaps, the hat promotion will start with the pirate quest release. :D

I can back up Green maybe there just not out yet, but I asked in Peices of Eight tonight and in the Christmas shop turned Pirate store At Disneyland and nothing on any gift with purchase cards.
But I have to go again in the Moirning so I'll let you know if the new quest is out when i get home.

I am going to be at Disneyland on Thursday and I hope that there is some new cool stuff for me to get, since I do not go there very often. I was happy to be going and getting the High School Musical Quest Stuff. LOL

I can't find the post to quote, but on another site, someone else reported the quest was back. Also my friend has a site w/ quest answers and he has the In-Park Pirate Quest on it.. but he said he can't remember where he got it. :oh

About the hat, I think this may be true.. Gold Ears are now or are going to be retired sometime soon now that the 50th celebration is officially over. So possibly they're replacing it w Pirates hat? I think they are continuing it cause I bet sales on the hats went up 73%!

I was just at WDW on Tuesday and was told that not to expect new pirate quest any time soon. I asked this specifically. The Adventureland quest is up and running. As for a pirate hat when buying a hat at end of ride...well I saw nobody getting a card when buying a hat when I was in line buying stuff for my kids. Maybe it has changed in less then a week, but somehow i doubt it and this is all a rumor (which happens entirely too often on vmk).

Well, it's Monday, and I haven't seen any new pirate items in the game yet. Anybody find any new quest information?

ok.... the adventureland quest is still there at disneyland.... cause i was just there a couple days ago and i did the quest... along with the others... anyways.... this is so confusing....
