They might have but that doesn't mean enough money free to use.

aww I'm sorry stka, maybe you can go another time :) who knows, you might win the lottery ;) lol
It's alright though, you just have to be patient. I want to go to Disneyland right now too but my parents decided not to. I was really disappointed too, but we'll go another time. You just have to wait and remember you aren't the only one :)
In the meantime, save up lots of your money so you can pay for your ticket or part of it. You might even be able to pay for the whole trip if you save long enough! Then it won't cost your parents as much money and you can go sooner :D :D :D

Hey! I can't go there either not because of the money but because my parents just don't want to go there this summer. Don't worry! Maybe you can go some other time and it will be just as fun. I have gone tons of places this time and have had lots of fun, just keep thinking of how you may go to WDW sometime soon.

Since you said go back to WDW, I am assuming you have already been there at least once. Just remember that there are those of us that have never been to either park and will not get the opportunity to go for several more years. I have not been to either park and will not be able to go anytime in the next few years unless I can save up enough money, which is not likely.

So cherish the memories that you already have.

If you ask me a family trip shouldn't depend on your grades. But that's just me.

A trip to WDW, DLR, or any major destination in the world for that matter costs great amounts of money, dough, cash, mints, whatever you want to call it. At a bare minimum it costs $1,500 to stay at one of the Value WDW resorts with park tickets, and that's not including dining, shopping, and transportation. Getting there is no easy task, which is why some parents are so thrifty before going and while they're there, and even for a period after the trip.

I work as hard as I can to get to WDW, DLR, UOR, or any park as much as anyone with the desire and resources. Put yourself in your parents' shoes. Your kid is heartbroken and really wants to go Disneyland/world, you have enough money, but can't necessarily spend it on a glamorous trip. Consider what's important for you: food, a home, and a good education. Then, if there's extra money, the trip can happen. I'm sorry you can't go to WDW/DLR like you wanted, but it isn't as simple as it sounds to book the trip and take it. To me, "good" money is hard work. Hard work gets you to those magical places. My hard work has finally payed off... I'll be heading to California to visit both Disneyland and Universal next month.

I hope you get to WDW/DLR soon!

Skippy is 110% correct.

You have to prioritize. Which would you rather have? A lot of families who have very young children (or even babies) have to spend money to take care of them. They have to buy special food and special clothing and special shoes, and by the time it's all over and done with, the costs really add up.

You need money to buy the essentials. Disneyland/Disney World is fun yes, but it's just something you do in spare time. Talk to your parents about saving up. Try and get them to put a little money towards a Disney vacation every month or so. It may take a while, but at least you'll have time to replenish the money you put towards a vacation. It all comes in good time. Just be patient. :)

Ah don't worry - you'll go there if you want it bad enough. Sooner or later, you'll find a way. If you live near it, maybe a group is scheduling a trip there. Like your church or a club at school.. you never know. Heck we live four hours away and our chorus group almost went to sing, do a voice over of the song "Be our Guest" and keep the video (a video of Beauty and the Beast but with our singing at Be our guest) and then afterwards go around the parks with a buddy for a couple hours. But something happened with our teacher and we didn't get to go :( I was bummed too.

Consider yourself lucky. If you've never been, you don't want to go in the summer anyways. You'll ride about two ride a day, and quit early because of the heat. The best times to go are the second & third weeks in February and Labor Day weekend. If you have been before, the waterparks are always fun in the summer, but if you haven't, you want the real Disney magic first :)
