View Full Version : What is the most expensive thing you bought at Disney?
Alienboy 07-26-2006, 02:45 PM As I was looking around my room and house I saw some things that were quite a bit of money. My mom has alot of paintings and her favorite one is the Mary Poppins Scenes that is numbered 23/360something and that cost her a couple of grand I was wondering what is the most expensive thing(s) you bought at disney. I have a couple of statues and original drawings of cartoons and alot of laser cut glass(the ones that spin on the color changer thing)
gpdot 07-26-2006, 03:21 PM Cels,

Oranges 07-26-2006, 03:27 PM The most expensive thing I bought was at the Main Street Jewelers shop. I purchased a giant pin that looked like Cinderella Castle (in its current form, with the magic mirror). It came in this gorgeous cherry oak box with a glass magic mirror on the top. It was $106.35 including tax, lol. :D

Minichristy 07-26-2006, 06:42 PM :fireworks: My brother, Radgust, and I are collecting the Olszewski Main Street pieces. So far, we have the train, train station, Town Square, City Hall and Fire Station. We also bought the vehicles, characters and Victorian characters. I just renewed our Annual Passports, and we have three discount coupons! Three more pieces! Yes, we have a lot of money invested in these pieces. I like the Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Cruise. Those may be two of the next pieces we buy! :pixiedust:

Caterpillar AEIOU 07-26-2006, 06:46 PM We collect paintings and prints by the artist Eric Robison.

I have several of his Mickey and Tinkerbell items. They start at around $200.00. But they are investments. LOL!
I also like the framed Limited Edition pin sets.
IF i had the money. I would love to buy one of those 75th anniversary giant Mickey statues that were in front of the parks last year. I love the Star Jones Animal print one.

ASuperStitch 07-26-2006, 07:39 PM I voted other, the items I buy are not expensive per each but I have bought maybe 1500 or more. I am talking about trading pins. Most are $7 to $12 but I have paid as much as $50 so I would say I have spent in excess of $20,000 on pins at Disney. I think they owe me a mini vacation at least.................lol
