I have a question here about CL_Mamacita's winning of Best Guest Room. Did anyone realize that the room that won this week had already won best guest room before? Now that staff can come into our room without people actually being in the room, don't you think that they should look at other people's rooms? Note that this thread is not meant to say Cita's room isn't cool, it is, but don't you think Staff could get a little more creative with the rooms they look at? I have had full queues in my rooms before only to find that players who have already won Best Guest Room or people who use nearly the same idea beat me out for it? Could anyone care to comment?

When you have contact with staff you get your room reviewed. Being busy only counts if you are busy when they are judging. Since they don't tell you when that is for fear you will only open your room then, you have no choice but to stay open all week, all hours of the day or just forget ever getting VMK to give you anything.(I stick to the latter) I made so many great rooms and huge, popular mazes that and games that its a sin how much time I wasted. I would never bother again.

the staff is not always fair and as helpful as they could be some ppl work really hard on their rooms so they can win the award so that is very unfair.

In my defense, I spoke to vmk_mocha in the game because I was afraid this might have been a mistake. I'm attaching a quote from her, she also said since the room was very different than it was when it won the first time that it was eligible to win again. As for the accusations of staff playing favorites or of me taking advantage of having staff on my list that were in the other thread that was closed, that is just plain ridiculous.

Listen, We 'aint "jealous", we just think it is "unfair" That She was awarded for the same room, even if it WAS a makeover.

I am really disappointed in what I am reading here and on the closed thread. You people should be ashamed of yourself. Jealousy is making many people say some very ugly things. So what if she won twice for the same room. What this says to me is, it must be a really great room. We should all strive to build rooms on this level.

Staff said something to me the other day when we were discussing this that you all should listen to. It takes more than building a great room to win. You also need to be a great host...make your room an enjoyable place to hang out. Your room should be fun and welcoming, so people don't just come in and say cool room & exit. So maybe those of us that have not won and have great rooms, need to work on being a better host.

actually i never contacted staff and host_hula came i judged my game.

yes some want to win best guest but i think winning for the same room is fair.

The room might have the same name, but it obviously has a different design, as several of the items in the room now were not available when it won before. That makes it a different room, and I see no problem with the room's designer winning twice. If the room deserves to win an award, then it should win an award, no matter how many times the owner has won before.

Well a lot of people have creative pool parties out there so why does she have to win twice for it when other people have pool parties also? Just saying..but good work mamacita! :)

I agree 100% with you goofy you made a great maze that never once that i knew of with working for you that a staff or host EVER CAME TO YOUR MAZE :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: same with my games they are open almost all day and i usually never get a staff ive only gotten to staff in any of my games/ rooms but alot of ppl say they like it OMG :mad: enough said your right goofy 150% correct! dont want to be mean to vmk but they need to look at everybody's room equally bc some ppl tell me they are friends with a staff and get retired quest from them etc. :mad:
