I have! I did it as an elective at school, and it's so much fun!!

I have to do it in school. The thing is, you can't do it with your friend, it HAS to be boy and girl. They only give you 10 seconds to find your partner, but it is fun anyway. :)

It's a hoot!

During breaktime me and my best friend started square dancing with people in a circle around us. It was so much fun and so humiliating at the same time!

We did it in gym. But we had to do it with another class, so I didn't know this boy! And he sweats like crazy :P

We had a choice to do a hip-hop dance or square dancing.. the majority chose hip-hop ;)

I had to do it when I was rather young... it was like a line sort of dance, so we got to dance with different people every time... the music was old, the karaoke was gargly... hiss... boo...

Though I did dance with my crush once though. But she isn't my crush anymore, too prissy and a little bossy. I look foward to middle school dances!!! A LOT!!!

At my school, everyone has to square dance in 4th grade. Everyone pretty much hated it lol

Square-dancing is the state dance for Illinois which is where I live. So I have grown up around it, but always thought it was stupid. Then I was in the musical Oklahoma! in high school and had to learn how to do it. I was quite surprised that I had a lot of fun learning it and dancing during the play. Even though it looked dorky to me I ended up having fun and enjoying it.

Done it in school..don't wanna do it again..lol.

woo i had to square dance in 5th grade and then we had a dance and it was tv... lol it was awesome but embarrasing... lol

In elementry school I remember it being a nightmare, we had to do square dancing, boy and girl. I was forced to be with this one kid whose hands were all sweaty and it was the most disgusting experiance of my whole life. I almost threw my arms up in the air and yelled "I'M DONE!" o_O
